I went to go see the Transformers movie this week at the movies. It was really really good. It deviates from the series we know and love but as its own it was pretty good. Just forget everything you know about the transformers before you go see it. The only thing I wanted to see which wasn't done is they only persued 2 voice actors from the origional series. Optimus Prime and Megatron.

From what I heard the voice of Megatron was too old to do it but they did get the real Optimus which was awesome. He's got such a great voice talent. I wanted to see more of the old voice actors in it too. Starscream I really wanted to see but they got a new person. Starscream was always one of my favorites. Also what appeared to be Soundwave didn't talk at all.

They did use the old transforming sound from the animated series, but only a few times. I wanted to see it every time they transformed.

Anyway it was really good!! I'm sure most of you have already seen it and you're like "Duh" right now but still So, after seeing it my friend said he had a link to really cool transformers cosplay and they're amazing check out the links below.

I agree, I thought the movie was really good. Although to be honest I was never really into Transformers; the whole series caught on behind my back or just before I was old enough to appreciate it, I guess. The movie was kind of corny and the whole last action sequence made no sense whatsoever but I found myself enjoying it through and through.

Well the thing with the Transformers live action movie that came out recently, is it's supposted to be completely independant of the origional series.

There have been several transformers series that have come out but the first series which came out in the late 80's was the best. Great characters, great storylines, and great voice acting.

The later ones were compliated, mostly CG only and kinda crappy. But the old series was great. The Animated movie too was great. I loved the soundtrack. And it had a LOT of celebrity voice actors. It was actually Orson Well's last project before he died.
