I loved Stardust too!!! The whole movie made you feel good inside. I loved the ghostly brothers.

Juno was good too. I loved her randomness.

That new movie about the internet killer was good too...there were parts I could do without in it, but on the whole it was good.

I have a friend who went to see the movie about the internet killer and he didn't like it. It appears to be a rip off of Saw to me.

I have to see Saw 3 and 4 still....

I saw two crappy movies:

Meet the Spartans: Some friends and I wanted to see Cloverfield, but for some reason, it got changed to this. Funny in the first 10 minutes, then get's old fast.
Final thought:If you want to watch it, rent it.
In The Name of The King, A Dungeon Siege Tale: Holy crap, this is bad. And I mean REAL bad. First off, the script was terrible, the acting sucked, the costumes looked like they came from the rejection bin from the LOTR set (scratch that, the LOTR rejected costumes would be more expensive), and the damn thing made no sense at all. The fricken main villian looks like or IS Donny Osmond, the King in this movie commands a squad of Ninja's...NINJA'S! WHY!?! Oh, and did I mention it was directed by Uwe Boll?
Final thought: If you really, really want to see it, look for psychiatric help immediately.

The movie about the internet killer had Saw-esque gore in it, but the plot was much better. The Saw movies bother me because I feel the intent of the killer gets twisted in order to cause more shock value. I always get upset because the doctor in the original Saw made a tourniquet but didn't cauterize the wound...I guess that's my main complaint with it among other aspects of the plot. I felt like the killer in...I think it was called Untraceable...that killer didn't seem to deviate from his goals or character.

Yeah I think it was untraceable too.

As for the Saw movies, yeah they did seem to get away from the killer's intentions. And yes I totally agree, it seemed they were trying for more shock value. I haven't seen saw IV yet. I intend to if the opportunity arises.

Cloverfield was kinda cool, but the end leaves you empty. You only get to see the monster a few times and for the most part can't see the whole thing at once. We heard there's something after the credits to let you know that the moster was still alive but that's about as much closure as you can expect.

The whole movie is shot as though it was from a hand camera too so if you get queezy easily, I don't recommend it. You'll get sick. I had to close my eyes when they were running up the stairs, it was starting to get to me.
