Hi, everyone. I'm just wondering if anyone is planning on going to any conventions this year. I'm either going to Katsucon or Anime Boston, only one of the other not both. I'm also planning to finally go to Otakon. Anyone going to any of these?

I am not going to those but I may go to AnimeIowa if I end up finding someone else to go with. Right now I am a lone wolf, I miss college and the ease that made to finding people with similar interests.

Well, I'm definitely not going to Katsucon that just started today at 12.

Katsucon is way better! But yeah, you missed it. Anime Boston is too crowded. Only bad thing about Katsu, is they hold it at a very expensive hotel. Well they have the past 2 years anway. The hotel is expensive, the parking is rediculous. But there are other things to do there before/after the con if yo have time, like see the Smithsonian, White House, etc.

I'm going to miss Otakon this year.... AGAIN! I LOVE Otakon. Definately the best con I've been to. Best on the east coast easy. If you ever get a chance to go to a con in Baltimore, its my favorite. Its in a huge convention center. I think this year its in August.

I may attend Anime North in Toronto. I was there last year... It wasn't a great con, and it was very busy. Found myself waiting in lines forever. Cosplay was good though. I'm not sure what date it is this year.

I used to like Anime Next, but they've been holding it at a crappy expo center. There are no walls, only cloth partitions seperating each part of the con so you can't hear very well at panels etc because of the (Usually louder) activities going on in the other areas.
