This has to be an all time low - even for a corporal retail giant BENT ON DOMINATING THE WORLD THROUGH LOW-PRICES/CHEAP LABOR. First pay for the medical bills, and then ... what? Sue it all back? Are they trying that hard to be evil? Really, this makes those bastards at Yuku look like saints. |

"Bastards at Yuku" lol I hope they lose more money because of this bad publicity than they did by suing the poor woman. I know I for one won't be going to Wal Mart any time soon. I don't care how low their prices are. I mean think about it. If 8,000 people skip 1 trip to Wal Mart worldwide, each spending approx $ 50.00. Then right there they lose $ 400,000.00 of what they took from that lady. This is seriously the saddest thing I've seen in a long time. |

Good news! Wal-Mart has withdrawn their lawsuit against this poor woman. It looks like they're reviewing their insurance plan to "Allow for more flexibility on a case by case basis" which essentially means they'll give this lady her money back. I assume that they're not going to return other similar cases. Reguardless, I haven't shopped there since I heard about this case, even though there were a couple occasions that I would normally have purchased something there. I'd like to think that people shopping elsewhere has helped this woman. Anyway, Wal Mart is still a pretty destructive organization, but at least they did the right thing in this case. |
