"Fireflies"
You illuminate my soul in a weary hour
Lights so captivating that you create
The display calms my panic-stricken heart beat
And steadily we pulse in sync

Making all other light seem tainted
You cut through the blackness of fear itself
Like a pair of tender, embracing arms
Offering a warm sense of refuge

For only a moment time is stilled
And eternity is made up of minutes
Only to be disturbed and ruined
By the call of life's everyday struggle
