So.... my aunt and grandmother are visiting (Yay, actual family came out!). My grandmother gave me this gift card as a late B-Day present (Yay and huggles). Just bought Foamy's latest rant cd (funny part is it came out on my B-day) and this Christian Screamoe band known as Demon Hunter... my best friend who is an MK introduce to me and I have never looked back. Sad part is they make take POD's spot... sad. POD provides ryhtem and puts more into worshiping God, but Demon Hunter gives you this feeling that God loves you no matter what. All the dudes from Demon Hunter are dressed like any heavy metal band would, but they're Christians... HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! |

That's because you're taught in church not to be stereotypically judgemental. For instance, Psyclon Nine; my favorite band, is the scariest looking band. But one of my favorite songs by them, is a Jewish hymn. It's gorgeously mellow, and sounds NOTHING in comparison to their look. One of their members is Jewish. This is them:

Yeah, but it's a good witness for people who have the stereotype of the Church... these guys, and others, break that sterotype! |

Not really. You can change individuals. And that only makes a certain part of the population. It's physically impossible to change the whole world for the better. No matter what, there is always a person, or group willing to protest for the hell of it. Whether they understand or not. |

Ahhh...but the world is not as you think it is. In YOUR world...my world may not be included. The people you effect are YOUR world. Don't refuse to try to change things because you don't think it will work on a larger scale. O_O |

There is only one world. There are just millions of habitats inside of it. |

Only if you choose to see it as such. |

Supergirl is right, the word world is described as your life and your view. People in your life involve into your world and theirs as well. It's a constant overlapping of worlds. People can change the world by chaning their world, which means they have can change the world! Changing the earth is a different thing entirely, but world is basically life through your eyes. |

Thanks Minagi. ^_^ It really gets to me when people turn and say in the end nothing you do matters. Because...everyone effects everyone else. It's a chain. Think of it this way: If no one ran for office because they 'can't change things' we'd never have government. Without government, there would be chaos. Everyone would do whatever and things would crash. So...when you do something...it matters. Even a little act of kindness...can potentially save another person in a way you don't expect. |

Hm. I suppose you're right. But still, some things just can't be done. Doesn't really matter anyway. ^^; I just wish I could explain what I see. It's beyond words. So I suppose it's pointless. And whether you have a government or not, chaos will always exist. |
