Untitled For the first time in a long time, my writing will show The Real Me. I'm neither philosopher nor scholar; just a guy who likes to write. But I keep my works to myself. I'm afraid of sharing, becuase I know people will think me different. Not the same as them. Just a crazy kid with a couple of dreams he'll never attain. Yup, that's me... or, at least, that's what they say. I lie to myself and say it matters not, but it really does. That's why I keep so much to myself. My obsession with the odd, My special treasures, My over nostalgia (okay, MAYBE I share that), my inner thoughts - all for me alone. Only those who I absolutely trust know The Real Me. Trust me, you'd know if you're one of those people. How? You who have seeen some of the inner workings of my mind, you who have had long conversations with me about nothing, you who just might share my pain, you are special to me... you know The Real Me. You'll be one of the first to see this. You won't judge, you'll read and smile. Maybe even offer some advice or critique. In either case, you will know. You will know. And so, I thank those special few. |
