09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.
Well, what does you're favorite animals say about you? I've always believed that you attach yourself to things that you are either far from, or most similar to. I think the same thing goes for your favorite animals.
So, post your favorite animals, and if you want describe what does or doesn't link you and the animal together. Post more than one if needed! I know I have a few different favorites.
1.] Owl - Most birds are associated with knowledge. Especially the owl. Since I was a small child, I've always loved birds, and the owl sticks out to me. They're beautiful, and I do believe wise. As for me, I consider myself well educated on most topics, but at the same time, the biggest retard. I'm sure the rest of you could say the same.
2.] Octopus - Master of disguise. And symbol for the unconscious. An odd choice, but once again, a childhood favorite. I consider myself to also be a master of disguise, in a different way though. Not so much my appearance, but my emotional state and in the mind. It's hard to explain. It's too hard for me to explain the unconscious part. The explanation lies within myself.
3.] African Serval - Ruthless killer, with the ability to be an amazing companion. It's pretty self-explanatory in my case. I'm planning on getting one myself.

1) The Wolf. Their organization and their social hiearchy, symbolizes how I need everything to be in a certain order. Also how they are cunning hunters and will never give up even the end of exhaustion... I want my venison
2) D'a coon Their sociality and their determination to get meal! Also their friendliness. I like to socialize and make friends... also... I love food... ^___________^
3) Da' bear Their clumsiness and they're greed symbolizes how I make mistakes... and always out to dance a buck... like that one night in TJ *in boxers, with a hat on, holding up a sign "will dance for Pesos'!"*

Mine is simple, so bare with me.
I have always been a cat person. I know people claim them as a 'favorite' animal, but in my case it is very much so. As I child, I guess I was never really much for animals. I was terrified of most dogs for various reasons...but cats were always entirely logical to me. They are very in touch with the feelings of others, and are very independant. They're annoyingly clever at times, and appriciate the rest is important.
My second...would most likely be a lemur. I was at the county fair once, and they had a petting zoo. It was filled with typical animals...some deer...donkeys...goats...but in the back behind some ropes they had some rarer animals in cages. I remember the lemurs very well. There were two, in a big cage together. They didn't pay attention when people tried to throw them food. They just hugged each other and stayed in a corner...sad looking.
That...and they have stripped tails...and I have stripe addictions. XD
