That's kind of what I thought. My first was with the only girl I've ever loved (still do 8 years later :\) and don't regret it at all. But I noticed that most virgins (NO ONE HERE I might add...) act really awkward, especially about intercourse. Guess I was born a "slut" but I never really had that awkwardness, she thought I was more experienced than her. Which is scary.

Yeah... She still talks to me once in a while, and last time I saw her in person, last year sometime, I could hear it in her voice still... Breaks me heart thinking about it, considering she was trying to act happy about getting pregnant and moving across the country. What an awkward last hug, faces not inches apart for minutes. /emo

Well, in my opinion, having sex with someone you're not married to gives them too much power over you. You're at risk in a million different ways. If they've been sleeping around you can catch something, if you're female you can get pregnant, and they can just have their way with you and leave. Not to mention, I don't think it'd be as special when you finally do get married to either the same person or someone else.

To me, sex is a gift (thank u God.... thank you XD ) between a married man and a woman. In a married relationship where a man and a woman actually work to make the marriage work and show their love to each other through sex is a powerful and beautiful way. However, outside of marriage it's like a commoditiy. Like cigarretts. It's been molested into the point of perversion, where sex is no long private, but publicsized. Having sex out of mairrage has totally degraded sex, to me it should mean something, when you are married. \The sexual relationship between an unmarried couple means nothing, for that couple could soon break up and they'll move on to the next ones... sad

My first time was with the girl I loved. Still love.. Whatever, and after that went awry I just went with the flow. Stopped for a while and now only have it with the most important girl in my life.

I've seen married people, their sex isn't much different, just becomes illegal to sleep with anyone else.

Love doesn't mean a ring and wedding, it's an attachment to someone, and is special to me now matter how many times it's been before.

Anyway, it's a philosophy, like religion, and is followed absolutely. Make love to the one you love.

Well... I think marriage SHOULD be a marker point for that. But on the other hand, a serious relationship for many years I can understand someone going all the way.

Not a month, but more like a year or 2. My friend happened to lose hers after 3 weeks (or maybe 2 months, not sure exactly) and then the guy ignored her after >_>. This is also the friend I"ve crushed on for God knows how long.

It's my honest beleive that if you love someone enough to do that...you should love them enough to commit the rest of your life to them.

I am by no means looking down on those who decide to participate in the act before marriage. I myself have a pregnant friend right now who is not wed...

But, in my own life, any boy who wants to sleep with me is the wrong boy for me. Thank goodness I pick well.

I really do want to get married, and it seems practical enough, but it seems to be completely diluted these days. I feel like I have a get a pre-nup before even dating someone. It's like a whole new political boundary.

I mean, I'd rather have a kid out of wedlock. But that's just me.

Meh, I will think that person made a poor choice, but won't look down on them not by all means. I mean their still a person, just confused.

Considering how women are (no offense comix and addy) but all except for a few girls I know are pretty treacherous. I know a few that did it just to get child support. Others marry and divorce for the settlement. :\
