My company gave me an air card so now I can do things like come here when I have to sit around waiting for a flight. But what do you guys do when confronted with sitting around for a few hours with nothing to do? |

Come here. Stare and wait for people to post when I know they won't. XD |

I didn't have to wait too long to see you come back Bkev. ^_^ I also started reading the Time Odyssey trilogy on the flight home too. So far it's pretty interesting. |

http://www.amazon.com/Times-Time-Odysse ... 932&sr=8-1 If you like time travel or historical adventure type stories, you'd probably like this one too. It's well written and has a lot of nice imagery to present the strangely fractured world of the story. Another story I've seen that's similar to this was the Doctor Who story The War Games. |

I haven't read the ending of the first book yet so I can't make any comments about that. |

Sleep. I can sleep anywhere, anytime. call it a gift. born of eternal airport waiting. once, we were stuck on a russian antanov 124 condor at istanbul airport, on the plane, for 32 hours. they finally let us into the base ops building were we drank turkish chai for 3 hours before they let us off the airfield. diplomatic clearances and manifests are important! apparently. ann |

Leave it to government bureaucrats to throw chewing gum into the gears of time. ^_^;; Sleeping in airports or on planes in flight is something I wish I could do. Planes are so noisy that I can never nod off for more than a few minutes even if I get the cushy business class seats. v_v |
