I've been playing Majora's Mask recently and I've been "adding" onto the history of Termina and Majora Mask and tell me what you think of it: In the beginning, there was nothing. No man, no Deku, no Goron, and no Zora. Except in regions going to the extreme north, south, east, and west. Man rest in the East however. They traveled in dark veils practicing a strange martial art of masking your self in the shadows and performing quick kill attacks. These people called themselves Sheika, but their true name was Inkha, which is Sheika for “ones who wear masks”. They wore strange masks that could perform miracles or despair. They were stranded in a rocky and desert landscape. No flow of life except a small river cutting through the rocky soil, yet the soil was still too rocky to even till. The Inkha began to venture out and discover a large field that was fruitful. They establish a walled town that could shelter the ones who farmed the land. Soon these new inhabitants of this large field became known as Terminan, “ones who embrace free wind” for this new breed of Inkhas did not wear mask. Soon the Inkhas became prosperous due to a good supply of food. The East soon became a city. Three giant towers were built to accommodate their chieftains soon to become kings. The Inkhas kept their shadow like heritage and still dabbled in hexing rituals for masks. The Terminans, however, lost that heritage, but kept the tradition of mask wearing alive to celebrate rituals. A king soon came to power that wanted to expand his domain, but not by blood shed. He first went to the north, where the peaceful Gorons lived. He told them he wanted to mine their mountains for iron. If they permitted this privilege, the Inkhas would not interfere with their rock harvest. The Goron Chieftain agree to this and submitted under this King due to their peaceful talks and plus the fear of the power that they store in their mask. The King then went West to the ocean to expand trade and to gain access to more food for the ocean holds a bounty of food! He went to the Zora’s king and queen and asked permission to harvest the fish of the sea and use the ocean to travel. The king and queen agreed and submitted themselves to the Inkha king due to the King’s army executing pirates that inhabit their seas. The King last destination was the south where he had to persuade the proud Dekus to submit under him. He went to them and the guards would not even let him near the entrance. Wicked men came with torches and axes and lead an assault on this proud kingdom. The Inkha king’s soldiers and sorcerers slaughtered the wicked men. The Deku came to a treaty with the King and aloud access to their kingdom, but they must not interfere with their politics. The King agreed. The land became known as Termina due to the whole expansion due to the simple migration to the field of Termina. When the King became old in his age, it became time to elect a new Royal Sorcerer. The one who he chose was Majora. Majora was a powerful sorcerer. He was feared yet respected. Handsome, and with a wild red mane subdued women and men wanted to be him. The people began o believe that he was sent from the goddesses to protect the. The Kings’ son the Prince did not like this and feared of Majora’s popularity not with just his people, but with the military leaders. He began to hear plans of Majora’s dark plans to lead a rebellion. The Prince challenged Majora. Majora laughed and accepted his challenged. They agreed to both whittle masks and put their power into the mask and battle that way. A week later the challenge commenced and the Prince one. The King knew about this challenge and told Majora that the goddesses will side with good. The King banished Majora. In his rage, Majora let out this curse: One day my spirit will return within my mask! My mask will enslave your guardians! The South’s water will become poison and the Deku Royal will fall apart! The North will become frozen! So, frozen the Gorons will be frozen to the rock! Pirates will plague the West and the Zora will loose their generation! This city… this city will fall and become amongst the dead! Then this whole kingdom will become in ruin due to my ownership of the skies! Mark my words! Majora soon traveled West of the Inkha kingdom where he encountered a race of women who were great thieves. He destroyed their best warriors and these women soon feared and respected Majora greatly and chose him to be their king. In case of Majora return, the Prince hid away Majora’s Mask for after the battle the Prince won it as a prize. Incase of his own mask known as the Fierce Deity Mask was hidden as well, to ensure his own mask would not fall into the wrong hands the pursuers had to present 20 masks known as the 20 Happy Masks. This story has been treated, as a legend so no would take the risk of retrieving the Majora’s Mask. |

Heh, I especially like the part about the passing down as a legend. It feels like something that would fit. Sammy? Did Comix reveal her real name and I missed it? |

Gal darn it! I don't know where that came from, I just started thinking as Comix as Sammy for some weird reason. I think I called her that a couple of times already. Comix must be thinking, "WTF?" |

Comix, in all honesty, if you want to know more about Sammy, and her role here on the board, ask Jesse, or Kevin. I can only tell you she was a good friend, extremely smart, and an overall good person. We went to school together, did EVERYTHING together. I think there might be a picture of her and I on the board somewhere. But you'd have to dig for it. Or ask Bkev. It might be on the old board. And if you want to Comix, I can try to get her back on the board so you can meet her. Though I doubt she'd want to come back. She doesn't have interest in any of this. But, who knows.. maybe she'll come back. Seems Kev and Jesse got along great with her, and we had LOADS of fun here. ^^ It's a shame you weren't around, you two would have been CRAZY. xD Uh.. I said I wasn't going to say anything. xD My big mouth. xD |
