Message to Gamers

He (the artist) has a point. Now, I own a Wi.. Why? For I am loyal to Nintendo. I have been a Nintendo fan boy since I was a wee lad. The main reason I wanted the wii was to bask in the glory of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I do not owna single game that is a part of a franchise. Not like Mario or Zelda, I mean like Disney games, that crap. The closet game I own that he's attacking is Rayman Rabbid Rabbits... that game is hilarious and awesome.

Truyl great games I have played are: Zelda, Halo, AoE3, Call of duty, Farcry 2 (the awesome one, not the crappy one for the Wii :evil:

), and a few others. I want more type of games like that! Not crappy games like go bowling with Micky Mouse... THOSE GAMES ARE AN ABOMINDATION! Any game in contact or refrence to Disney is the spawn of Satan :evil:

Nintendo is to blame for this. The Wii became to fun to fast and they capitalize off this with crappy "fun" games. With low graphics and poor animations, saving some cash, but making jore! Only actually putting the effort into the games like Smash Bros. Brawl and Twilight Pricness with such good graphics it rivals Halo and creating the moment of anticipation for everyone and creating the feeling, "IT'SA GONNA BE THE BEST GAME EVER!" and everyone going out to buy those titles. Is it an awesome market stratedgy? Absolutley! Is it molesting the gamer community? Absoluetly. Am I a hard core gamer? No, but I am a gamer. I still "humble" myself playing and enjoying the old games like Banjo Kazooie, Zelda, Conker, DK, and other classics. Why? Because they were awesome!
Red steel for example, it was cool, but Nintendo got to darn prideful and did not dare to maske the game look as good as Zelda. Poor graphics and made the sensitivity for the remote... to darn high :evil:

Far Cry 2... for the Wii... was even worse! OH MY GOD EVERY TIME I TRY TO BRING MY SCOPE UP MY MACHETE POPS UP!

Am I pissed at Nintendo? Absoluelty, but will I abandone them? No. Yes, tjhey have their franchises, but their good. Will I buy the crappy Mario franchises... no. They used Mario to many times. I wills till buy a game that avtually catches my intrests and has decent graphics. FGor now, my gaming money will probably go to a few Wii games, but then thbe rest will go to a 360. I'm sorry, but Microsoft is not as bad as Nintendo. They are ok, but can be worse.

Or any of the other games you mentioned.

I know the feeling Min. I've been saying this for awhile - we're getting out of Nintendo and said companies publishing for the wii the mini-games we used to get IN games on the N64 and the like. Plus, not a fan of Spirit Tracks...

It's sad. as a 10 year old I had a bad feeling all over the gamecube and PS2. Maybe it was that competetive spirit that the companies boiled out so well? I dunno, but I hope we get some better gamer co. in the future.

I dunno, I just think some people think vg is a get-rich quick scheme... not really! It's just like music. In a way, vg's is like art! It just starts with one lightbulb going off and then a mixutre of music, drawing, and writing.

Well, yes it is. Depends on the type of comics. From Spiderman, to Hellsing, to even Garfield all are art.

while i agree with you that there are a ridiculous amount of mediocre games out there that arent worth 50 (60 for the 360) bucks, i still think that there are plenty of good games out there as well. and for the most part, i agree with the online reviews as to what is good and what isnt. and not everything related to disney is shit, look at kingdom hearts.

As a Burtonite, I must add that The Nightmare Before Christmas is another application to the rule.

Actually, I must say that I do not dislike Disney. Their classic animation was charming and I am proud to have grown up with it. I'm not thrilled with the cheap digitally animated works...

UNLESS it's a Pixar Team up. Pixar takes their time. Pixar produces quality film.

Pixar I will make an exception for. They produce classics. Toy Story, Bugs Life, Monsters Inc, and now UP. Dude, awesome.
