So this time of year is what alot of people would call "finals". somehow i got lucky and i only have one final that i truly have to deal with.


Its a paper in my literature class. sounds easy, right?

not so much. not for me, at least.

If i were to admit any sort of weakness that i might have, it would be my ability to write good papers.

but really, what do you guys do to study/prepare for your finals?

Study an hour a day for about a week.

I'm worried about my AP euro test... :O

Hmmm...I know what you mean. My college English class has a bit of a 'final paper' of sorts. I'm writing it on Polygamy.

Anyhoo, I've never been a studier, but if your really passionate about doing well, I'd read through you're notes and make sure you've got everything down. Personally, I'm concidered to be a pretty strong writer (according the my Writing Exam...but that's a story for another day), and I got that way through practice. Have fun writing, but not too much. XD

Well, what I used to do is write down the words in bold along wih the definitions, after reading the chapter first. It's reallty helpful when u write stuff down because it's like it's final.

If you haven't been studying, now isn't the time to start! (not because it's summer and I'm later... again.)

For future reference, in subjects you're not good at and haven't been keeping up like you should've, then try BSing.

Sounds easy, but it takes some finagling to turn something that reads like garbage into your teacher wanted to present it to their next class.

In writing, pick a subject you know the most about, if it's open ended then you shouldn't have any problem finding a topic you can talk about.

Which brings me to my next point, in writing, TALK ABOUT IT. Don't write a reference paper to your teacher, talk to your teacher through the paper! Make a conversation and points against your own points to better illustrate your knowledge of it. From there it's cake, little googling and BAM you've got your senior thesis.

For high school, this doesn't apply. Good luck.
