Perhaps you have wondered where I've been.

Well boys and girls, I give you the answer.

We've moved out.

Yes. that is right. My mother, brother and I have moved out of my father's house and now have an apartment. I am free.

It's a nice place, and I really like it here. I'm rooming with my mom, and no longer have to worry about my Dad's drinking rampages.

Good for me, right?

I bet it feels as if a 100lb block was lifted from your chest.

Well, he didn't know about it ahead of time. We secretly started packing. Well, we where ready to go last Monday and he caught us leaving. My mother told us to get the heck out of there, so I waited at the apartment and she told me he was surprisingly calm.

But he's still a wackadoo when he's drinking

Unfortunately, my mother insists that I still talk to the man. I accept this. I mean, he is my dad. And if he's not drinking, he's actually a semi-decent human. Aside from the whole...well...self centered thing. She told me I should call him while he's at work. He's a truck driver, so he kind of can't hit the booze at work. Apparently, he's really sociable sober. I wouldn't know. I never talk to him that way. XD

Attempting to 'man up' and give him a call..

But I'm a girl, so I'll bide my time. XD
