I've been debating whether to reclaim my ol' anime and manga for the past couple years and I finally decided I miss my stuff. i'm not sure how much is still there at the comix book store, but the majority is still there. Alota the series I was into, Hellsing, Trigun, and yes Tenchi, were not well-known so hopefully most of them were still there along with my anime. I think he marked them all for $2 so i'll just pick 'em up neway I guess!

It's blows people away when I talk with a kinda Michigander country acsent and they ask me what are you into, and i always reply, "O... huntin', trappin', fishin', campin', pickin' berries, gardenin', listening to music, play WoW, and watch anime, and read manga" they just go woah ok

Well Bkev, I'd certainly recommend Oh My Goddess OVA and the two seasons of the newer Ah! My Goddess television series. Also, I was browsing anime off of my Netflix Instant queue, and came across a two part anime movie which is decent called Karas. Not a bad movie, some good action and interesting ideas, not uber memorable though. I also came across an anime television series called Noein which I actually think is pretty good. I've watch about seven episodes of it so far and it has an interesting premise. I'd suggest more but I'm still trying to find newer ones to watch myself. Back when I posted on the gamespot forums I used to get some suggestions from people on anime. I haven't watched any of these but I was told Elfen Lied is excellent and that Hellsing is also quite good. I haven't seen either though so I can't give a fair critique on them.

I think Min has seen Hellsing, which is why I recommended HnK - gore gore gore! That may just be the movie and the manga though.

I recommend Galaxy Express to everyone and everyone regardless of personal taste. I'm obnoxious like that.

1. Legend of the Crystals - Final Fantasy
I know what your thinking, A final fantasy anime? well I gotta tell you I was a bit aprehensive at first (chocobo's....0_0), but what instantly caught my attention is that, Matt Miller, Sherry Lynn and Kate Vogt all had main cast roles, if your not a big fan of Final Fantasy you won't get a lot of references (as the anime is a supposed sequel to FFV) But you will more then likely enjoy it for the voices


2. Android Kikaider - The Animation
From the famous Shotaro Ishinomori (the apprentice to the creator Of Astro Boy), Android Kikaider has one of the most heart felt and emotion driven story lines I've ever seen, especially with the help of the music, wow, its one of those stories that takes itself serious but doesn't make it look tacky or taboo, you want to feel for Jiro throughout the whole thing


3. Science Team Ninja Gatchaman
Battle of the Planets? Gatchaman? G-force? whatever you probably saw it as, it just doesn't get any better then Gatchaman, Sure it might seem funny to be watching the whole like "Power Ranger" type thing, but trust me, its a fun watch, plus It just doesn't get better then Ken the Eagle, lol

Gotta love Gatchaman.

O the TV series SUCKED dude! I mean they were outta synch, they disregaurded the storyline, their animations were terrible, and for the love of God they made that series another perverted seires! Da only good part was the voice actors.

However whoever did OVA made that series the best! It was awesome! They stayed with the story line and made it very nice!
