THREE! There were only three of my Trigun left lol I asked if he 'll get any manga in soon and he said, "Well, we can special order it for you, with no cost, but we won't get any in cause the manga market literally collapsed" and he means for comix book stores, im not sure bout barnes and noble. So, I've been collecting books on amazon, that are literally a penny each O.O |

Since this is technically a dual thread now, any suggestions for anime series to a newbie? I've watched a small number of series so far (All the Tenchi series of course, Gundam Wing, Oh My Goddess and Ah! My Goddess, Cowboy Bebop, and Noein, I'm starting Outlaw Star sometime soon). I'm looking for anything that is light on strange things(I watched a samurai anime movie that I don't remember the name of where a cyclops sexually assaults a girl which was a samurai sort of movie, but I didn't even bother finishing it because that scene turned me off to the story) and preferably anything that isn't ridiculously violent(I don't mind gore and I even enjoy a fair amount of it, but when it becomes completely gratuitous you're losing the point of the story). I enjoy light comedy, action-adventure, sci-fi, occasionally mecha, fantasy is also good. I'd love some suggestions for "essential" titles. I'm sure more than a few of our posters have got some works that they really like aside from Tenchi, even though Tenchi is still my favorite =). Thank you in advance, I've been researching series but I value the opinions of like-minded people over amazon suggestions ^_^. |

Trigun! Trigun is an awesome strange anime The manga is even better! Death Note is one of those new animes that are actually good, again manga is really good Hellsing is gorey, but good! OVA rules! |
