I would like to:D If a boy: Setsuna. Maybe Makoto. If a girl: Sasami, Kiyone, or Aeka in order of preference. If transgender or a hermaphrodite: Ryoko. |

I'm not sure if I would. A lot of it depends on whether or not my wife would be able to agree on the name with me. If she would I would potentially name them a couple of different things. Boy: Kamina, Keiichi, or Kagato Girl: Chiaia (really like this one, it's so cool!), Yoko, Ryoko, or Mitsuki |

Dang Akawoa, you took a couple of mine, lol I would probably go for Male: Ryu, Jiro, Hideki, Kamina, Zidane (pretty sure that last one may be french but oh well) Female: Ryoko, Mitsuki, Chiaia, Ryo (middle name) Ohki ^_^ |

probably something from final fantasy. Ive always liked Yuna for a girl, maybe Corin for a boy |

Probably not. Though if I was, I'd probably go with Mayuka for a girl. Not because I love the character (I liked her, but she's not my favorite) but I always thought that was a cute name and it can be shortened to "May." |

Neither of us is ethnically Japanese or Asian, so I would have to say no to this question. Although, I could make an exception if I'd had a very dear Japanese friend that had passed away previously. In that case I could name a child in memory of a friend like that. |

Dagon, Akawoa, know what would be even better? Instead of 'Chiaia' it should be 'Chiara' ;D |

too late - already got 2. (you know why i have 2 kids, 'cause i didn't want 3! love that lame joke.) i am thinking of re-naming them....something like 'Raging Harmones' and 'Buzzkiller.' to all that are teenagers - please go easy on your parents, or they will curse you will the infamous "i hope you have a kid JUST LIKE YOU!" ann ps, even if you give your child a Japanese name, they would spell it with katakana in Japanese, as only native Japanese spell their names with kanji. |

I probably wouldn't give my children Japanese names, since I'm not of that ethnicity. If my husband was, sure. I'd probably send them with some Victorian same. Something old fashioned but classic. |
