Merry Christmas! Oklahoma I hear is having a whiteout blizzard. The Frost Giants are at it again. Not much sunshine in Iceland today; but that is what it's like so close to the Arctic Circle around the Winter Solstice. |

I'm so sick of holidays. This country has entirely too many of them. It seems that every time I blink, another holiday is upon us. I do like Thanksgiving thou, if only for the food. I love all the food. Thanksgiving is such a BS holiday. Giving thanks? To what? That somehow we were good buddies when the American Indians? More like giving thanks that they didn't put up a better fight or were more resistant to our diseases. Anyway, as for my Christmas, it was the same as always, just another day, except with a turkey dinner. We don't put up trees or sing songs or give out presents. My uncle and I are real grouches for the holidays. My poor mom thou, I kinda feel sorry for her. She lost her passion for the holidays when I did. She was always the one the got stuff organized and what not. And if I didn't have the passion for holidays, then it was pointless of her to continue. She was only ever into the holidays because of me. |
