1. Ifurita from "El Hazard, The Magnificent World"
The most beautiful anime girl ever, IMO. And I found her story of breaking free from a lifetime of servitude and having her mind controlled to be rather compelling.
2. Sasami/Tsunami from "Tenchi Muyo!"
Again, I might be biased on looks, as I consider Sasami's adult form, Tsunami, to be one of the most beautiful anime women out there. But, even aside from looks, she still has a moving story. In fact, it was episode 9 of TM! that won me over to the series.
3. Misao Amano/Pixy Misa from "Pretty Sammy"
I like Misao's character a lot because I identify with her a great deal. Misao reminds me very much of what I was like as a child..............and Missa reminds me of myself now
4. Ukyo Kuonji from "Ranma 1/2"
Another character I identify with. Ukyo's story of unrequited love towards an individual who only views her as a friend is identical to a situation I was in back in high school. That, and I think Ukyo is the cutest of Ranma's fiance's
5. Misaki Jurai from "Tenchi Muyo!"
Come on, who wouldn't love a mother like Misaki?
