Just a quick reminder from Comix the Burtonite. Alice in Wonderland comes out in Theaters on the 5th, so I suggest you don your tophats accordingly. I myself will be going twice. The first time to squee, the second to savor. See you at the Theaters! |

The reviews are mixed, tilted slightly toward favorable - will see it next week when the theaters are emptied out a bit. |

Comix's Opinion: For those who have read Lewis' Carroll's Alice in Wonderland,Through the Looking Glass, and the Jabberwocky, you will be completely delighted. However, if you're going expecting the classic disney Alice in Wonderland, you will probably be disapointed. The Films not trying to be a remake. It's trying to go on it's own path in Wonderland. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and really hope you all get a chance to go. I'm seeing it yet again tomorrow, and once more next week. |

From what I've read, it's a "10 years later" type sequel to the original story. As a big fan of the original stories, I'm really interested to see what Tim Burton came up with. ^_^ |

Well, I for one was delighted. I went to see it again last night in a 100 person theater near my college. I had gotten a free ticket. They had a contest. "We have a movie poster here for anyone who can recite the Jabberwocky". So I immediately raise my hand, walk up to the front of the theater and recite the entire poem. Ahh...five minutes of Lewis Carroll lover fame. <3 |
