Long as you're having fun, I guess. My problem is I consider my friends... conditional. They either go to school with me, do the same after-school activities, or live close by. Save a small few, they're just - convenient. And I feel horrible for saying that, but it makes me wonder if my friends are people I really care about. I cared too much for an unconditional friend and may have lost him because of it. I need somebody to love. |

Queen agrees with you, and laments your plight. Comix agrees with you. The only problem is, Comix has someone to love, but he apparently does not love her back, though same claim that he has left to be better, and that love some how remains. I don't know if I'd be happier thinking he doesn't love me or thinking that he might. Damn it, life is crap sometimes. |

Well, it would seem easier to go it alone, but doesn't it seem to be an awful waste of emotions to not express them to someone? Point: We need people we can be close enough to, to be able to express ourselves when needed... or in excess... with vulgarity and inside jokes. Better to have loved and lost, right? Still torn on that one. |

True... Still, I think a few months as a lone entity could do me some good. After all, you have to be single to mingle. Plus, I note that I see my friends more. I had a really bad panic attack last night, so all my friends walked me back to my dorm, two stayed, and a bunch visited me in the morning. Including the boy. He made it short and brief, but checked it. He's a good guy. |

He'd have to be heartless not to check in at least. Doesn't really make him great though...  Sorry to hear about your panic attack,  Don't like hearing about Comix breaking down.And it is true, being around friends can help for a while too. You've got a good head on your shoulders, so let's hope you use it

I certainly hope so. I made sure that I have an appointment with my Doctor scheduled so that I can get screened for depression over the summer. That way, if I need something to balance the hormones out...I can get it. |

Just mentioned that to my girlfriend, something better than birth control to moderate hormonal levels. At least you're getting yours checked. |

Outside of this crazy city it may not be as readily available, but might I suggest therapy before medication? Personally I'm scared of medication, I worry I'd never be the same. |
