Well, I'm sure if all you did was start a conversation with a guy you thought was cute enough, then he'll reciprocate. We know you're a good conversationalist. Just need to apply it to the real-time. And if you find out he's not into nerdy things, then you probably wouldn't have wanted him hitting on you in the first place. AMIRITE?! Or you could try that distance flirting thing girls do. Like make eye contact, body position, "accidental" touching. Things of that nature. Guys get the hint after a while and go fer it. |

In my head, I have a mental picture of your avatar sitting at a bar next to some hot babe saying "How YOU doin'?" Anyhoo... I don't really notice an initial attractiveness until I get to know a guy, which I guess is an advantage to him. And if I DO notice, I'm usually WAY to intimidated to talk to him. I'm strange. The more I like someone, the more I tend to avoid them. In short, Comix is strange. -_-'' |

HA! Basically what it's like. It's like the honeycomb monster from those 90's commercials. AND, just something to work on with time. Eventually you'll get brave enough to talk to strange hotties. It'll be fun. And I do the same. I avoid girls I like a lot unless we're in the later dating stages. Comix is strange regardless. |

Couldn't help but laugh at the "immediate bail" part. Happens to me too. It's 50/50 with them wanting to get married too, so both scenarios kinda suck. I wonder what makes them bail though. Any weird collections you show them? Like hair dolls or something? |

No dolls. Currently attempting to find a good medication for my depression. So...basically what I've learned is: Do not discuss your problems with men. It originally sparks their hero complex, but they soon grow tired of you. Hence why I think I'm going to decide to fly Solo. Then I'm no one's problem. |

My friend is one of those guys. He gets all "IMMA HELP YOU WO-MAN" then ditches em when the routine gets old. Currently my psychiatrist prescribed Lexapro, but I have to see him about the side effects. You may want to check into it. Psychologist (who lives directly across the street from the girl I've liked since 6th grade, which is over 10 years, and am currently semi-dating) thinks I may not need it after all, maybe something else. BUT... I don't really get the hero complex, though I tend to date girls that spill the beans on their personality issues relatively early in the dating process. I don't ditch them, instead, stick with it until they usually left me for some !@#$%^& with the hero complex.

Mee almost thinks Comix & Crumpets are doing a little bit of hookin' up right here teeheehee. ^_^ No dating anymore for me, but I did go to my nephew's wedding last weekend. They already have a baby too ... <- Now feels ... really old ... v_v |
