Seems like this place is dying ever so slowly... Again. SOOOOOOOO how bout some random talk?

Moved to Flagstaff with my "brother" of over ten years. Found about the "free" section on CraigsList and got a 46" TV from there. SWEET. New phone, Omnia i900 for $75, which was weird since I was actually shopping for this very specific phone last year and it still costs $200 with a 2 yr agreement. Back with the ex, sort of, but hey! can't leave each other alone... Living off of student loans without actually attending school this semester. Sort of a loophole that no one cares about since I'm the one getting screwed no matter how it turns out. NAU next semester. About 5 more years till my Ph.D in Psychology. AANNNDDD it smells like dog food here. I live like 5 miles from the Purina plant. SUCKS.

Most of the time that I come here, there isn't anyone else logged on either. I think that you need to find the right time of the day, or more correctly the right time of the night. Summer months tend to be quieter too with people out enjoying the nice weather rather than staying home on their computers. It's lunchtime at work for me, so this is a common time for me to show up. ^_^

CURRENT DADDY ISSUES: After my mother, brother, and I moved out of the house, my father has been on a speedy decline. To make a long story short- he didn't keep up with the house payments, so it was due to be foreclosed. My father attempted to starve himself to death, and is now in the hospital. He has been declared mentally unfit to care for himself. Keep him in your prayers. He may have been a cruel drunk, but he IS my dad.

OH, LOVERBOY: Sooo...had a good friend of mine confess feelings for me. We were together for about a day until I came to my senses. However, my ex, who I still have feelings for, apparently realizes he has feelings for me. Interesting development.

Oh wow comix, that's terrible! Hope he gets better... In more ways than one. I'm starving again, but it's not just depression this time (though a huge factor, girl from before if anyone remembers) stomach virus too. I eat like 400 calories every 2 days.

Sounds like your friend is going to be destroyed, only reason he sticks it out as a friend is that he'd rather have some attention than none. I honestly feel for him... And that one guy? Really? Have you come to your senses, woman?!!? Though that is an interesting development.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad Comix. v_v *hugs* Hopefully this will be the rock bottom event that will turn him upwards to recovery. It's strangely similar to what happened to my mother-in-law and she wound up going into hardcore detox after losing everything too. But, it's been many years now since she's had anything to drink and it has been a pleasure to come to know the person that she really is rather than what old demon alcohol had turned her into. Someday it will be the same for your dad too. I don't know how long he's been drinking, but I know he'll be a different person after detox (that hospital better send him to one) and after he has been freed from his demons.

I work for a company that builds power converters and transformers and I do mostly CAD design work for them. Sometimes I do testing and field work too. ^_^ And Crumpy, you really need to eat something, otherwise that dog food really will start to smell yummy. ^_^;;

You're the second person I know that makes a profession out of CAD. A friend (a notorious pathological liar) got me to play with AutoCAD for an afternoon. Long story... Sounds like a fun job though! My dad works in testing now, he loves it, hated his old desk job...

And I've become aware of the eating disorder. I sleep all day too. Still have some anti-depressants too but don't want to take them.

When was the last time anyone here actually watched Tenchi? I haven't seen it in months...

<- Has blown stuff up before, so yes testing can be interesting sometimes. ^_^;; Most of the time I try to stay away from stuff that can kill me so the CAD design works out pretty well with that plan.

A couple weeks ago I found some DVD's of the Tenchi OAV episodes 1-7, so I've seen those pretty recently. It had been quite a while since before that so the memory refresher was a great experience. I had forgotten about how great the music was in the OAV's and the "Royal Teardrop" theme was always a favorite of mine. ^_^

Sorry to hear about that Comix... I'll pray for him. As for my life? SENIOR YEAR! I'm happy at my school. I can't believe I'm happy. I'm never this happy. I was so excited I couldn't sleep the first night; this hasn't happened since I started middle school.
