Hehe, well I stumbled across this board looking for Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari (SKT). But thought I would just say hello... bored more or less. I am a long time Kajishima fan, along with materials that are derived or related to his creations. In response to the general topic of quiet, I have noticed that most younger people have no experience with Tenchi or associated properties. I pretty well enjoy the whole lot. I know many aren't GXP fans, but it's actually one of my favorite comfort anime. Anyhow, I just don't think there is much of a presence like it used to be, which happens. Most people these days, mainly seem to go for flash and bang. Further, most adult anime consumers seem to be only interested in the macabre and other dark emo-flicks. Not that I don't enjoy them sometimes too, but I lean more towards balance. Oh well, I still enjoy turning younger fans on to the Tenchi properties. Dual has always been a surprise hit, as the concepts are a little easier to grasp than the Tenchi series. But once I can get someone hooked on the story style, they usually enjoy the rest. |

I always find it amusing that people come back here from time to time just to check in. Means they really were attached to the board back in the day. Funny how a shared interest in one television show creates communities, isn't it? |

I think so. I've got to do some work on the board though. Right now, the spambots have made it difficult to set up new users. I'm wondering if changing the url slightly will defeat them. It might break some people's bookmarks though. |
