I Haven't watched GXP either, and I don't want too. Im far too attached to the original cast! xD Still got to watch Pretty Sammy (: Watched all the TM Movies, with Daughter of Darkness as my favourite. Tenchi Ova 2 and Universe are probably my favoruirite bunch of episodes. I wasn't really keen on Tokyo. They MURDERED Washu's hair and pretty much cast her aside!

I love the Hakubi family, and even though i speak for Ryo-Ohki, lol Ryoko is still my first favorite, followed by Ryo-Ohki, and Washu, and so on, lol

Oh and you saw the sarcasm up there with Jibbi right? since you said your a Ryoko fan (of any type), get used too it, thats how she is, just warning you ahead of time, lol we still love her though

Yeah I did.

And im absolutely gutted. Been looking for Tenchi DVDs on eBay, and found that complete collection for $60- ALL REAGION DVDS. I have the right money in English pounds to get it, but the Shipping is $30 ;_; I don't have enough. D: Most Tenchi Muyo merch sold on the ineternet only ships to the US aswell.

Living in the UK sucks. </3

Thats a bootleg btw too, lol, there is an official UK collection of the first 2 OVA's with the mihoshi special, lucky, lol

It does mean fake, generally it doesnt matter if your tight on money (i bought a bootleg of Ruroni Kenshin once, was too broke but had to see it, lol) but if its US only guess it doesnt matter, lol

anyone else buy the pioneer OVA collection here? I dropped like 115 on an auction a month ago to get them all. My wallet hurts a lot from all the tenchi dvds I've been buying... It's worth it to have them though, Tenchi stuff is certainly not as easy to acquire as it used to be... 60 bucks is a great deal even if it is bootleg. Plus it's all region, big bonus for you if you ever take it anywhere out of the country like a vacation =D

Bought the Ultimate Edition OVA set for 100$ (thats right official), everything i've bought from Pioneer/Geneon (mostly Pioneer ^_^) is official, I almost caved in and bought bootleg versions (knowing good and well they were bootlegs) but Tenchi means too much to me to mearly by bootlegs, so i bit the bullet and went all out, and i can say i'm proud of my empty wallet, lol

I'll look around more for the official sets. I found the official Volume Two of the Ovas(4 eps) And it's region two. Yay (: Will order that.

Im thinking of buying a multi region DVD player. I Already have a pretty cool DVD player built into my TV, but I have no idea if it's multiregion or not D:

Good for You ^_^, I'm kinda glad i have an Xbox360 because it plays all regions, so i don't really have so much to worry about, same with computer, but theres a good chance your DVD player won't be (not to say its not) but most manufacturers don't take into consideration that you might be buying out of the country, hope i helped, lol

And yes they do, i found this out when I got a PAL Live show (tape trading, lol I'm North America so everythings Region 1 NTSC) and i was flipping out because i thought "crap i can't play this" and so out of desperation i pop it in the 360 BAM works just fine

I don't have a deviantart account, I'm unfortuneately not gifted with any art skill =(. But I do browse it a lot and sometimes I post other peoples Tenchi art up here, with links to their appropriate gallery. Dagon are you talking about this when you say the ultimate OVA edition? This is the OVA set I have, I love the cover for obvious reasons.

I have a bootleg with the exact same cover, only over-saturated. Bought on accident, avoid LIKE THE PLAGUE.
