Haha that's one of my favorite moments in Shin Tenchi as well, one of the most ridiculous displays of anger on the show =D. Well that and when Aeka picks up a table in the Mihoshi special and starts smashing everything with it after Ryoko calls her a slut...

Thats the only time i've ever heard them say "slut" too, lol and they say Ryoko's the destructive one

Exactly, by the way, one particular thing has always confused me about the Mihoshi special. Wasn't it made in the OVA universe? If that is the case why the hell was Kiyone in it? Plus they end the episode saying Kiyone is alive and stuck on the rubble of Washu's lair... I never understood that. Please tell me that was explained at some point O_o

You can thank Hasegawa for that. Not sure WHEN it was released, but Kiyone's his - and he at least had some influence still.

No complaints, just wish this was still canon.

Nothing is canon after episode 6, even though that can be debated depending on who you talk to, since the 3 musketeers all didn't work together after that, this is usually the accepted answer

That's kind of lame, you'd think that they'd have done a better job with the canon continuity, but we've been the OVA 3 horse to death in multiple topics =P ....

I was unhappy with that too, it felt almost like they wanted to do something new and try to bring in more fans by riding the success of Tenchi by throwing them a bone. They really wasted a lot of the episodetime with trivial "filler" too, granted Tenchi filler is enjoyable. I would have preferred if they hadn't force fed the entire plot of the seven episodes into the sixth episode like they did. I'm going to be watching Saint Knights Tale in like fifteen minutes... first impression so far is that it has pretty cool animation. I like the mech suits- like gundam but neater, course I'm only like twenty seconds into your video

Cool, The Seikishi (which resemble alot of Mech from DUAL and GXP) are a pretty cool aspect to it, and like I've said, most who watch it think its really good, and its being executed the way it should, that being said is why I hate that Kajhismia basically blew off OVA3 for this and GXP, OVA3 was all filler minus like maybe a half an hour? and thats alot of time considering the episode length, so at this point I see another Tenchi Ova as not just a want but a necessity

We definitely deserve a do-over on OVA 3, us poor Tenchi fans were left hanging on a limb =/ . By the way I finished the first episode of SNT and I like it a lot so far, like you said Chiaia (sp) is my favorite character so far. Are they planning on releasing dubbed versions stateside anytime soon? I don't mind the subtitles but dubbing is easier on my eyes because I can focus more on the action. You already know what I want from a proper OVA extension on Tenchi... Petrea =D , and a more competent story with less filler
