So, I've just about seen all 26 episodes of Intial D. I rather enjoy this series, I must say. I don't really like to drift in my 'Vette as it's so heavy and has so much power. I've learned a lot from this animé. It's very technical, but they have a way of dumbing it down for non-car people and making it interesting. I feel like getting the Miata back from my dad, as it has about 1/3 of the power of my 'Vette, but just as nimble. Still, at 2800 lbs, it's still a pig. Maybe an 1986 Toyota Celica GT, if I can find one in decent to good condition. That's what the AE86 Trueno is called over here. There is a mountain pass that I'd like to try drifting through over here. I'd practice road course racing for 7 years though. All with a cup of water. If you watch the series, you'll under stand me better. I think I might just buy this box set when I get the money to. It's been a while since I felt this moved by an animé. Do a search and find some eps to DL. |
