OOC: #1- I've almost completed Darkside of Xeen, and thus have much more information about Corak than I thought I could get, so the profile will be up soon. #2- I must check out the plot to this said game... or check with a friend of mine who is obsessed with Zelda, either option. #3- ^_^ Thanks for starting Survivor off so spiffy-like, MM! IC: The first "Hero" to escape from the incredibly cosy house did so via rushed use of a device so advanced, it could only be described simply as a "Matter Transfer Device". Appearing on the ground below the treehouse stood a figure, only now dimming from the magical energy. He would have not seemed out of place in the "Olde World" style surroundings, for his clothes were remarkably in the same style, except for the odd Shoulder armor over the being's robes, and what looked a little like jewelry around his neck. However, all these assumptions could be thrown when one looked at his face. His skin was not any regular colour, it seemed to be more of a blueish type, and his face, although humanoid, was certainly no where near "Normal". But it was the eyes that had struck many of the beings that he had met before. They were entirely crimson, and bore a look that told one that this being possessed only an ancient knowledge that was known to few. Corak, known to many as Corak the Mysterious, placed the Matter Transfer Device into the pocket of his robes, which seemed to seal up soon after, and took the time to survey his surroundings. It was the purpose of his Personality Module- to process the purpose of things and situations, and to come up with solutions. He was still not entirely sure why he was here, but as he was, he decided that he would make the best of his current situation. Noticing the little phaery-like creature, Corak deducted that she must have some clue as to what was going on. "Excuse me, little one," he said, looking over his shoulder at Navi, "Where exactly am I?" |

A loud explosion sound ripped the air around the forest but there was no flame. The others looked around to see a weird craft zipping through the air then landing down near the heroes. The hatch to the craft flipped open and sitting in the craft where a man sized frog, a girl and a boy with red spiky hair. The frog jumped high into the air and landing next to the heroes. Frog: this place smells as if its in some sort of Peril. The frog turned back to the people in the craft. Frog: you two go on with out me this place seems the same as my home world except the time here is different. But no matter I must help those in need when ever and where ever. Lucca: Ok Glenn be careful we will be back when its all over. With that the craft zipped off into the sky followed by a loud explosion sound. Frog: Tho the path my be dangerous we must all move forward for its our duty. |

With this the Robot Masters mostly "shifted" into the background, apart from the flame related robots, who noticed there was much flamable material in the forest, including most of the houses. Forte and his support unit, the wolf like Gospel, had found that the local wildlife(the Kokiri mostly) amusing to chase, Forte with his blaster blazing at this wildlife, along with any of his "siblings" unlucky enough to be still in his way. Dr Wily himself turned to Navi again. "Tell me, where can I find more out about this... Gannondorf? I mean, what kind of evil does he do? Does he make killer robots like me, or maybe he's one of those evil corperations? Drug dealer, Mafia, Dictator? Oh I know, he's one of those "zombie" mad proffesor people, making brain eating zombies, and other monsters that get up when they should be staying down? I've always had doubts that it was a actually going anywhere, but each to their own, I suppose..." The man had no concept he was in a World of Actual Magic yet. ( I think I'll withdraw for the moment, letting someone else make a move, since all but Wily are currently occupied.) |

Corak found it genuinely fascinating that the creature spoke in a similar way to that of a humanoid creature, given that she did not actually have any visible mouth. But then, it may have just been his general programmed instincts acting, as even this small detail may come in useful later. After all, this place, known as "Hyrule", seemed to not be part of any of the Ancient's Macrosms (All shall be revealed once I write up his bio), and thus, he could not tap into a Wire to find out any other details about the place. One thing about her speech that disagreed with him, however, was the fact that the little creature seemed to lean more towards persuading the more shady characters of questionable virtue, than any others. He could not complain, though, even if it was in his character to do so- he had been aided by a few natives of Terra who were of mixed intentions, but bound together by a common goal. Sometimes the most evil villains made the most steadfast heroes. Casting a steady glance around his surroundings, Corak noted that it was a little sunnier than most of the places that he had travelled to before, but it was nothing too far out of the ordinary. The other beings that had gathered at this place were all vastly different, and there Corak took another note. All of these facts would be important at a given time. Letting out a slow breath, Corak stretched, and then frowned. Although he would not have to trouble himself with the Sheltem Unit, this new Gannondorf sounded very similar- definately malfunctional, and murderous. While he was here, he would make his best attempts to solve this problem, and put and end to the countrie's plague. Bowing down greatly, more to be at the little faery creature's level than a show of respect, he stated, "As long as help is needed, I, Corak, shall be here to be of service." Which was true in most cases. |

The female looked around her in surprise. She had no idea how she had gotten inside this . . . thing . . . with all these humans, not to mention something that looked somewhat like a fish, but had legs. What was this thing, anyway? It was a hollow structure like the inside of an underwater cave, but it looked like something humans would make. Or possibly the Vortex. Being inside with so many people was making her edgy, though. She didn't like closed-in spaces, and she never would. Edging past the all of the humans and other things, many of which looked vaguely like humans but with parts inside of them such as she had seen in a shipwreck, the female walked out of the artifical cave with her new legs. She suspected her arrival here was not natural, since just moments before she had turned into her human self and had been walking up the beach to leave on her own journey. Slowly (she hadn't quite mastered the art of walking upright yet) she walked towards the tiny winged human covered in a ball of light and asked, "How did I get here, and who are all you people?" She couldn't help but notice that most of the people seemed to be human. The little winged person, who looked like a ball with wings, suddenly dashed towards the female, and said, "Look out! I'm Navi. I've summoned you here because I've heard of your heroic actions against the Vortex. I need you to stop a similar evil in our world, Ganondorf." The female blinked. "I didn't stop the Vortex. That was Ecco, a friend of mine. He's a strange sort." The winged ball was silent for a moment, then shrieked. "AAUGH! You mean after all that work to bring you here, I got the wrong fish?" "I'm a mammal, Navi," the female reminded her. "Whatever. Well, you can do most of the things Ecco can do, right? I guess you'll have to do. What should we call you?" The female said her name, at which point everyone around her covered their ears at the noise. Navi paused again and said. "There's no way we can call you that. Most of the people here wouldn't even be able to pronounce it. I'll have to think of something else to call you. Hmm . . . What about 'Keely?' The female shrugged. It was better than having her real name mangled by the humans, at least. "I don't mind being called that," she told Navi. "All right then, for the purpose of this quest, you're Keely! Got that, everyone?" Nagi shouted. "Oh, and Keely, one more thing. Would you put some clothes on? I think you're distracting some of the other people here." Keely looked down at her new body, her human body. It seemed fine to her, no major deformities or anything of the sort. Curiously she asked Navi, "What are 'clothes?'" Navi sighed and the next thing Keely knew, she was covered in some kind of fabric with green pants and a green shirt and a brown tunic. "There," Navi said. "That's what the people around here wear. I've always thought it looks kind of stupid, but there's nothing else availible. Why don't you get yourself acclimated with the region and with your companions?" "Okay," Keely said, and went out to explore this new place, filled with such wonders as she had never seen before in her life. OOC: I love your ideas for this, Mihoshisman! I can't wait until we get more into this! |

Dr Wily noticed this newly escaped hero, for two reasons. One, he had the look of a scientist. Two, he could, somehow by the way he moved, and X-ray scanning, tell that this boys arms were robotic in nature, or at least one of each was. He approached Ed. "I say boy, would your arms perhaps be ... mechanical? Amazing... Myself and an associate once tried that, but we were having trouble translating the signals from the brain correctly... Can I take a look? I'll give it back in one piece, and I'll even throw in a Blaster upgrade, much like the one my boy, Forte, is using on Cutman..." The Old man had a huge grin on his face. "AHHHHH! My Face! My Wonderful face!" "Wonderful? I think I just improved it!" The grin faded slightly. Maybe leaving the advertising to Forte and his other robot masters was not such a good idea. However Forte now stopped demonstrating his arm blaster to anyone unlucky enough to be around for him to demonstrate it to them. He had just caught eyes on a female. He began to make his way to Keely, a grin on his face. and a glint in his artificial eyes. |

Corak sighed a little, and turned towards this humanoid who was seemingly named 'Ed'. He definately looked human, but seemed to sport some kind of bionic enhancements, though what kind exactly, Corak could not be sure. "It seems that you have come in slightly too late, little adventurer," he stated, guesturing with an almost-dramatic sweep of an arm towards Navi, who was currently off bothering someone else, "That little creature, Navi, explained to those who were punctual on their arrival, that we have been transfered to this world, which is reffered to as Hyrule. This was done because the land is in dire need of a Hero, due to the reign of terror that has befallen the land: One being named Gannondorf, who is supposedly a blood-thirsty, murderous creature. It is in this Navi-faerie's hopes that one of us can prevail, and put an end to this evil." The boy only looked to be in his teens, but Corak had delt with many natives of the planets he had visited, and he knew that age, size or race had nothing to do with how swiftly they could vanquish their enemies. The Servant to the Ancients adjusted his wristguards, whilst observing this very boy, and the rest of the Heroes and villans that had already formed outside the treehouse. All of them seemed to have strange powers, from the little abilities that Corak could sense. The Ancients would be most interested when he would be able to report back to them. |
