09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.

*Navi finally managed to break away from her new advisees and had a private meeting with the Great Deku Tree. Navi thought he looked more sad than usualÂ…but then again the bark made it hard to tell.*
Great Deku Tree: NaviÂ…we havenÂ’t much time. These heroes you have brought will have to do.
Navi: Listen! IÂ’m sure at least one of them will be able to help.
Great Deku Tree: I hope soÂ…
*With that, Navi went off to tell her heroes and villains that they were now allowed to enter the clearing of the Great Deku Tree. She also wanted to make them aware that she felt they were ready to enter the winding paths of the Lost WoodsÂ…a magical forest with dead ends that teleport the explorer back to the start. Along with the twists and turns are a few clearings. One of which has a target for target practice that will give rupees for a direct hit. There is also a lovely song playing throughout the woods, played by the wimpy LinkÂ’s childhood friend Saria. In both areas there are plant like enemies that have a bit of bite to their bark. When defeated they leave behind deku sticks and deku nuts.*
*Finally she reaches those she is meant to guide and prepares to make her announcement.*
Navi: Listen! The Great DekÂ…..
*the following written by KagatoTEG*
At one of the ends of the clearing, a Flame based Robot Master came running out. This one was shaped something like a lighter. "Guys! Guys! You'll never guess what I found! A Giant Wooden Tree-" "Umm, that is what trees tend to be made of, duffus!" "- With A GIANT FACE ON IT!" "Dude! A Giant face! Things with faces on, are so much more fun to burn, I mean, look at Woodman, man!" "Hey!" "Yeah, you are so right, Burnerman, I am so there, lead the way, Heatman!" The Fire based robot masters dashed down this exit. Navi looked down the path after them. "Watch out! Listen! Ahhh! Come back here, wasn't someone meant to be guarding that way?" A fat child like figure ran past her. This figure was also on fire. "... This is going to be a long day..."
*the following written by me*
*Navi pauses a moment in order to try to decide on a plan of action. In the end she decides to rush after the pyromaniac robots in order to prevent the destruction of her master.*.
Navi: *thinks* Mido will be alrightÂ…IÂ’m sure of itÂ…I hopeÂ…

Letting out a stifled cough, Corak looked over at Dr.Wiley, then went after Navi, to see if these delinquent robots with absolutely no obedience chips would destroy an oddly named type of Flora. As it really relied on the persuasion of a very annoying faerie, his expectation's weren't very high.
Although he had a strong sense of justice, Corak really couldn't care less about the status of the surrounding environs, just that he could complete the current mission: Destruction of one being named Gannondorf. It was his sole reason for being here, and he would follow the directive to serve.

Keely slowly made her way through the forest maze. It was slow goiing since even though Wily had given her the lomg wooden stick her called a "cane," she was still unused to walking. She had a whole new respect for humans--no wonder they were so mixed up when it was so hard just to stand up! Because of her slow progress, it wasn't long before she was surrounbded by small globes that looked like they were made of a giant ,mass of seaweed. Keely immediately sensed, not just hunger, but a decided emotion of malice coming from them. Keely fired a long string of sonic barrages at them, somethong that would have stunned or at least confused them were they fish, but the seaweed-things seemed completely impervious to the noise. Keely realized that this must be some of the same things that were attacking the Great Deku Tree.
Deciding she'd worry about the moral implications later, she smashed one to bits with her cane, and, as they circled closer, stamped on some more, one literally in midair as it tried to take a piece off of her arm. The others were accidentally killed as Forte and some of his cronies set fire to the surrounding trees, barely missing Keely. "This is a great idea!" Forte was saying. "I wonder why no one thought of it before? It's so obvious!"
(KagatoTEG, if you have different plans for Forte or if you don't think this is how he would act, please tell me and I'll fix it.)
Keely was about to look through the still-smoldering hole that Forte had made when her keen ears caught a soiund some distance away from her. "SQUIRRRTLE!" (Help me!)

While the others were running into trouble, or causing it, Corak was trying to methodically make his way through the twists and turns of the area, in the "Goal" to find this "Deku Tree" that was still in danger of being burnt by the renegade Robots.
In regards of other rogue creatures, Corak had had the fortune to not run into any, as of yet. Luck plays a part in some things, but misfortune can run more freely in the big scheme of things, or so Corak had observed on many occasions, anyway.
And although he had been able to take down the larger, high-powered beasts of various Macrosms, he had no knowledge at all of what this strange land would contain, which always left people with at least a small amount of uneasiness.
OOC: Is there anyone wouldn't happen to know a website on the monsters of the various areas of the game? @_@'

(HHmmm it's ohki. And the beast I can find in a sec is this http://www.zeldalegends.net/bestiary.php Not the most help though... It is a old game, so I don't think anywhere would have many pics of it. The best solution I can think of is someone playing the master quest version that came with Wind Waker and taking screen caps)
Zero stepped forward dramatically. "I feel like doing something heroic, but I'm a little uncertain of my surroundings, since I would of expected more robotic enemies... Ummm Navi was it? Could you help me?" Navi stopped, then returned to Zero. "Help? In what way?" "Well, by pointing out the dangers less obvious to me..." If we could of seen Navi's expression, we would of seen one of pure joy. "Oh yes! Of course I can! Oh Watch o-" Navi dashed to a nearby monster a split second after Zero killed it. "Hey! I didn't tell you to watch out yet!" "Ummm it was trying to bite me. I think I could recognise that threat..." "Oh... Watch out! It's a-" Navi began, ready to fully explain the Deku Baba, even to give its Latin Name. "It's rooted to the spot has a range of attack of 1 meter, and is currently five meters away. I don't think it is going to hurt me..." "Oh, well er... Look out!" "Navi, that's a tree..." "Yes, but if you run around too fast, you could run into it and hurt your head! Oh Listen! A Spike Pit!" "Yes... I can see it, and I can tell it is something I do not want to fall into without you... Why do I get the feeling that it shouldn't be here?" "You know, I've never seen a spike pit before in these parts neither... Look Out!" Zero rubbed his head. It looked like it was going to be a long day.
In the distant future in another dimension... "Zero, Watch out!" "Yes! YES! Yes, Navi I can fully see the Spike Pit! I know that is Dangerous! I have been through this numerous times, in fact I've seen 15 spikes pits in the last five minutes, and You've Warned me of every single one!" Zero stood at the spike pit, a nervious twitch in his eyes. "Ummm Zero?" "... Yes Alia?" "You called me Navi again, who is that?" "... I have no idea actually, but I seem to have nightmares of being told to "Look Out" and "Listen"... " "Oh... Watch out!" "Alia, 1, you're not helping that problem; 2, you already pointed out that pit... just a few seconds ago..." "Oh... Loo-" "AGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Frog walked deeper into the forest when he suddenly realized the robot was gone and he was alone.
Frog: Better try to find the exit.
Frog turned around to see a red monster with a long nose and little knobs hanging off it.
OOC: Ive only played the old nes and snes zelda so i will bring the old school lol.
Frog: What sort of beast are you?
Frog slowly approached the creature being careful not to startle it. He came about 3 feet away from the beast when it began to shake.
Frog: whats wrong?
Then out of nowhere a giant seed shot out of its nose nearly striking Frog in the head but he pulled his shield up just in time. Frog chased the little monster but it hobbled its way back into the woods.
Frog: Don't want to get lost so I better not persue.

Corak was sure that he was nearing this tree... At least, he thought so. How difficult could it be to find a tree with a mind of its own?! Showing a rare display of frustration, Corak kicked the nearest damn plant that he had been seeing so much of for the past half hour.
However, instead of going back to gently swaying in the wind, the plant instead seemed to grow a set of fangs. So much for his run of 'luck'.
Stepping backwards, so as to easily gain a proper defensive stance, Corak's first instinct (If you could call it such a thing) was to raise a sufficient, if light and feeble (For proper mobility), shield.
There was an odd sound, and then a burning smell. Looking around, Corak realised that the plantlike creature had run at him while he was still activating his shield, and had been completely incinerated. "Well, that makes it a little easier." Corak noted, and walked onwards.

Keely immediately decided to go search for the tiny blue turtle, but in one of life's little ironies, after one more turn and a long walk down a path, she had reached the tree that must have been the one Navi was referring to, since even with the almost-blinding fog it was obvious that it had a face.
A young dark-haired man was slumped against the side of the tree, motionless. Keely couldn't understand why he didn't do something, since a giant crablike thing was perching sideways on the bark of the tree above him, and it didn't look friendly.
"Shoo, you annoying pink firefly! Shoo!" Keely saw Forte batting his arms at Navi, trying to force her away.
"Hello, Forte," Keely said with her usual cheerful tone. "What are you doing to Navi? And what is that?" She pointed to the giant crab-thing that was ready to devour the motionless boy.
"Keely, I'm going to kill this thing," snapped Forte. "I can't stand it anymore, she's driving me insane. Zero passed her off to me about ten minutes ago, and I don't even want to destroy him anymore, that's how bad she is. Every time we see anything that could be even remotely threatening, she yells "Look out!" or "Listen!" By damn, I'm a robot with all sorts of superior abilities! I don't need to put up with this! I can tell the fanged plants and the spiders with teeth and the spike pits are dangerous on my own, thank you!"
"Why would someone put spike pits in a place like this anyway?" Keely asked rhetorically. "Usually, people would come to worship something like this and leave offerings, so there would be no need for spike pits. I can understand how the plants and animals got mutated, but someone would have to dig spike pits, and why would anyone who lives around here do that?"
"Huh. You raise a point, actually," Forte said. "Not that it's any of my concern."
"You said Navi pointed out anything even remotely dangerous," Keely said. "Is that crab thing not dangerous then? It certainly looks dangerous. It looks like it's about to eat that young man, and he's not even fighting back. Did it paralyze him or something?"
No sooner had Keely mentioned that a young man was in danger than Navi spun away from Forte and yelled in the boy's face, "LOOK OUT! A Skulltula is going to eat you if you don't move!" The young man made no response. Navi yelled in his ear, "LISTEN, Ryoma Echizen! If you don't wake up RIGHT NOW, you are going to be lunch for a GIANT SPIDER!"
Forte chuckled rather nastily. "The faerie that won't shut up and the boy that won't listen. This is almost as satisfying as swatting her down."
"I don't suppose we're going to help," Keely said. She was beginning to find Navi annoying as well, considering that she could hear everything the pink faerie said no matter where she was inside the maze.
"And ruin the fun?" Forte snickered. Maybe it was her human body influencing her, but Keely didn't move to help the two either.
