*Navi sighed to herself*

Navi: *sigh*...men..*sees Keely*...and women...*sees squirtle*...and androgenous creatures...

Navi: Listen! Violence is not the answer!

*Navi's wise words may have done them some good had anyone been listening...instead water seemed to be multiplying on the ranch as much as the chickens were.*

Ed heard Navi trying to tell them that violence wasn't the answer. Grunting in frustration, he yelled to everyone to back away from the chickens!!! Once the heros were clear of the crazed poultry, Ed transmuted the ground so that large, thick walls surrounded the chickens, fencing them in. "Ok," he said, turning to everyone else, "If violence isn't the answer, then what is? I thought my cage was a good idea, but apparently it didn't hold as good as I thought. So, any suggestions anyone?"

*Navi was starting to get used to the idea of things turning onto other things...but it was still a bit of a shock to her.*

Navi: Listen! Chickens cannot be defeated. They are all powerful...that's why we let them run free here. When angry, they are able to multiply...doubling and tripling themselves with ease. They are fearsome creatures...forming a pack and then attacking! Someone as small as you could be destroyed in no time.

Ed: Who're you calling small!!! I'm bigger than you'll ever be!!!

Navi: *sweatdrops* Listen...of course you're verrry big!!! *mumble* for a little kid*

Ed: What did you say!?!?!

Frog: Perhaps we should deal with the chickens before experiencing any more foul play.

Navi: Listen! Of course there's a way to stop them. They can be stopped by....

*Navi is cut off by the sound of 500 angry chickens breaking free from the sod cage.*

FlashMan is sitting in a field by an Ant Hill, every now and then making all the ants stop in their tracks. Then he hears something. Screaming, and clucking. He stands up, and can not believe his eyes.

Ed is at the head of this renew retreat. He sees the Robot Master, and begins waving at him, and to shout run away, over and over. Suddenly, he is just shouting. He can not longer wave his arms. Neither can he move his legs, and this means no running.
"WHa???! What are you doing??! How are you doing this?!??!"
"I can stop the movement of a target."
"But why me? Now they're going to catch me!"
"You mean the chickens? They're stopped too."
Ed tried to turn his head to look, but could not.
"Now what is going on here?"
".... Well these chickens seem to want to kill us. And they will not stop."
Navi, who was also frozen thought it was a suitable time to finish her previous sentence.
"Yes, the only way to stop them is to..."
"Leave the area and then re-enter it. You didn't think Forte had already gone through this? Seems these guys have a real short memory or something. He triggered them, then when we saw them all coming at us, GutsMan grabbed him, and we all legged it out the the farm. Forte managed to get out of his hold just after we left the farm, and dashed back in. We followed, and like him, found the chickens were happily clucking away, pecking at dirt again. Until SparkMan poked one in disbelief..."
"I said I was sorry! Will you guys get the mettools to fix me now?"

*Navi was finally free from being frozen in position. She would have to consult the Great Fairies in order to discover a method of avoiding this Flashman's spells. Navi wasn't sure she approved of a man who flashed for a living.*

Navi: Listen! The chickens may seem calm now, but anything could set them off.

*The one or two chickens now seen on the farm were clucking along calmly.*

The chickens, who, now that they were no longer enraged, had seemed to go back to their normal size. Keely had no idea how they'd done that, and she didn't really want to provoke them again to make sure. She was exhausted from doing all that walking as well. Walking was harder than she had imagined it would be. She sat down on the ground near where Ed was trying hard to restrain the Squirtle from going after the chickens again.

Suddenly the ground began to vibrate. Keely heard the sounds of a large, possibly threatening, foor-footed animal approaching. Did it possess the same temperament as the chickens?

Navi spoke, "Listen! That is Malon, the daughter of the owner of the Lon Lon Ranch, and her pet horse Epona. They are friendly creatures and would never harm us. We should listen to what they have to say."

Before long, Malon came into sight. She was a child of about ten riding on a chestnut horse that was obviously too big for her to mount alone. "Hello!" she said in a friendly tone. "I'm Malon, and I've come to invite you to my daddy's ranch. We heard that you were having trouble with the chickens, so I think you would like to come and have a nice revitalizing drink of our milk. It's the finest in all of Hyrule."

"That sounds-" Navi began, but was interrupted by a loud burst of "Squirtle squirtle squirtle squirtle!" from the Squirtle.

Keely followed its gaze and saw that Epona had come into conflict with one of the chickens over a patch of grass. The chicken fluffed its feathers and began to peck at the horse wildly.

"Damn hell crap!" Ed yelled.

(Ack, school has started and I can't get on as much anymore ...)

The group made their way back through the ranch. The chickens were now happily pecking away at the ground. "Why are the chickens like that?" Ed asked Malon. "You seem to be from around here. You should know about it."

(If I actually knew something about Malon, I would RP a bit more... but I don't, so I'm forced to kinda leave it here ...)
