The man grined.<br>"Kids today... You seriously don't know the legends of the Death Stones? Child, these stones hold power over life and death, and a much greater power as well. As a child, in my home town of Goski, I was a witness to the resealing of my town's own Deathstone. On that day, several people died, and I was one of the few surviviors. Since that day, their power has become something of an obession... And I was being paid, somewhat of a bonus. My Employer was researching into their anceint power,obessively like myslef even, and had a good few breakthroughs. I was shown firsthand some of the power they have been able to control. But currently it was quite unstable, however, my employer just sees that as something to iron out slowly. Right now he wants to collect them, to make sure he has enough power for his intended projects... I just wish that Bastard Lenny had not cut me out of the deal, I was much more in the know about it. I have been helping my employer for a while now, and that little upstart has only been working for him since he started his projects in this city! I deserve to be there when his "dreams" come to be fulfilled. He will use them to rule this entire world, you see. As Amaya questioned the henchman Linden looked around for Curie, surely he would have something to say about all this. <br><br>But he could see no sign of him. At this point Amaya turned to face him and asked<br>"I'm going to go. You up for it?"<br>Linden quickly though about it, it had been too long since he had done anything other than study, and this certainly seemed strange. Defiantly worth investigating further. An hour later, Ali managed to locate one of the Edainian informents in the shanty parts of town where most of thugs and thieves of the city made their residence. Seeing the run-down two storey building, Ali approached the grimy, yet sturdy door and knocked in the secret code the Edainian's would use when seeking a meeting with their eyes and ears.<br><br>After a minute, the door was openen by a keen-eyed old man with unkempt hair and glasses.<br><br>Ali:Good day to you sir, I wonder if a man by the name of Razeeb is home?<br>Old man: What do you want you who knocks in the code of the Edain?<br>Ali: Might we step in to discuss this? Their could be unwanted ears and eyes about who shouldn't have to know of this.<br>Old man: Step inside then youngin.<br>*Ali steps inside as the door clangs shut by the old man.*<br>Old man: Now then, who ye be and what do you want?<br>Ali: I am Allan Leagh Meargh, 2nd rank apprentice of the Knights of Edain, sworn protectors of the innocent and hunters of the wicked.<br>Old man: Hmph, prove it.<br><!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>Well, I guess a puffed-up statement won't work. It was he who sent the golems and wiped out my brethern.<br>Razeeb: Come then, we'll check out the records in my office and see what he can acquire.<br><br>Ali and Razeeb ascend into the upstairs office, another group of adventurers began their search for the mysterious deathstone. ***OOC Just to point out, Teatime is not techically a Hellspawn, though of course your characters will not know this. He is in fact a Fallen Lord, a greater demon, who was orignally a human who died and went to hell, but striked a deal with Satan. Also, many of the powers you see Teatime using are not his demon powers. That sword was in fact a sword he stole from Death. Also note Alice is probably about as Powerful as Teatime, and is not a demon at all. And also note, there are things much more powerful than Demons out there... Also note, the Teatime and Alice are Not from this dimension.***<br><br>Teatime was now back at his hotel room, glaring at the wall. Teatime does not notice this.<br>Darkside: I do hope you are not trying to start any Tyrant Projects here.<br>Teatime: How can I? Miss Wonderland here follows my every moves.. Now where did I put it?<br>Darkside: Maybe you gave it to someone for safe keeping?<br>Teatime:... Alice....<br>Darkside: Well thank you. Just before I go, anything you want me to emphasis?<br>Teatime: Yes... Although they show to be a similar power to Nuclear, the Death Stones are Not quite the same. They appear to be 85% more powerful, at current tests. We may soon have some break-throughs due to a recent new employment.<br>Alice: We kidnapped a guy here, who seems to be an expert on them.<br>Teatime: Well anyway, we are still not certain whether or not the Death Stones involve any magic. Current test point to them not. If what you say is true, and that it's possible he's part of that lethal assassin's group, taking himdown without help won't be easy.<br>Ali: I've got to do something, my fellow Edainians must be avenged for that treacherous attack. Besides, there's no telling what that monster is up too that could very well endanger thousands of innocent lives!<br>Razeeb: I agree, but your going to prepare yourself more appropiately, and not get caught by the technomancers.<br>Ali: So do you know of anyone who deals in Khryadin Crystals? Once I get my swords imbued with them, I should be able fight that demon and not worry about him turning my blades into splinters!<br>Razeeb: Yes, I have, but this person is extremly cautious in terms of meeting due to the extensive searches of the technomancers so you're going to have to be careful in the arrangements.<br>Ali: Where can I meet this person?<br>Razeeb: Go to the warehouse section in town and look for a one storey brick building with the sign "Blacksmith C.O.", then knock on the door twice. Whoever answers, tell them that Razeeb sent you, and give them this letter.<br>*Razeeb hands Ali a letter bearing the emblem of the Edainain Knights.<br>The dealer is an old friend of mine, and should be able to help you with enhancing your weapons.<br>Ali: Thanks Razeeb, for helping me when you didn't have to, what with all the trouble going on and the passing of Edainian Knights.<br>Razeeb: When there's some demonass-kicking to do, always glad to oblige. Now go, time is being wasted on this idle chatter.<br>Ali: Alright, but if you can, see if you can find anything on that Assassin's group, I need to know their motives and curent members if I'm to track that fiend I encountered.<br>Razeeb: Will do, now hurry!<br>*Ali slips out of the building and makes his way once again to the warehouse section, unawares that he's being tracked by a tech spy.*<br>Ali: <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>Hmmmm, maybe I should have mentioned something to Razeeb about this feeling I've all of a sudden acquired. His name was simply Engine (OOC yeah, you definately might want to suggest something better). There was a knock on his door.<br>"Damnit, I told my secretary to let no one bother me. I'M WORKING! COME BACK AT A LATER TIME!"<br>The door opened, ignoring him.<br>"You're lucky I knocked really."<br>"... >glup< Teatime."<br>"Yes, now do you know there is one of those knights in this town currently?"<br>"Yes.. yes, I have spies watching him."<br>"Good, make sure you also keep me updated on his movements. Also, how has that research I asked you to do been going?"<br>"Not well, we are not familar with things like the Death Stones. Plus there's the fact you've only given us extremely small samples!"<br>"I wouldn't trust you with any bigger samples."<br>"Teatime, you are overstepping your boundaries!"<br>"Am I? Oh, and for How long have you known about the Knight being here, or about there being survivors? Teatime smiled, while Engine turned white.<br>"Oh dear, I appear to have broken your neck. Alice? Could you do the honours? As I never stuided white magic myself..."<br>Alice is just standing a few meters behind Teatime. Engine certainly never saw her enter.<br>">sigh< Learn some control Teatime. It's is becoming a habbit."<br>Alice healed the man's neck, and then Teatime released him.<br>"Remember you place please, I would not want to demonstrate it again... No wait, I would, but I'm sure you don't agree... I expect some good news from you by the end of the week. (I think Engine could be replaced with Commander at the present moment, but the Technomancers are at your disposal KTEG. Just to add some insight to them, the organization is divided into sections. Technomancers= Your basic secret police force equiped with natural and enchanted weapons and gadgets. Neomancers= A higly trained elite fighting force used only for major means. Well trained in martial arts and weaponry, with a few combat mages handy in the supernatural arts. The Dark Circle= The ones in charge of the Technomancy, well learned in scientific and supernatural facts. Members ranked from 1st degree(lowest) to 7th degree(highest), with only five 7th degree members known as the Patrions. At the moment, they're in league with teatime, but have their own plans as well.)<br><br>Ali soon arrives at the secret shop and knocks on the door.<br>*Knock knock*<br>Voice: Who's there?<br>Ali: A man interested in trade at this establishment.<br>"Really? Now how do I know your not some technomancer coming to cause some ruckus or confisticate my wares again?<br>"This letter should explain everything."<br>*Slides letter under door. Silence for a minute until..*<br>"Alright, you may enter, but don't touch anything and wipe your feet on the way in."<br>*Door opens and Ali enters, wiping his feet on the mat.*<br>"Now then, are you the person....wait a minute, are you the owner?"<br>"Yes, what's it to you?"<br>"It's just that I never thought of a woman running such a dangerous establishment on her own in this..... special town."<br>"I find it's easier to keep myself from getting cheated. But enough of that, what do you need that's so urgent?<br>"I need 2 Khryadin Crystals, oval-shaped and about 5cm long each."<br>"Should't be hard to find, but the price for those is fairly high."<br>"I'm sure I can manage."<br>"Very well then."<br>The women leads Ali into a backroom and searches in a vault full of crystals and other assortments.<br>"Here you are. Now how will you be paying?"<br>"Well, there's this."<br>*Displays 2 emeralds in his hand*<br>"Will this be enough?"<br>"I should say so, but I didn't know that Edainian Knights carried such wealth about them."<br>"Let's just say some troublesome thieves who were robbing on the highways didn't need them after being beaten in a fair fight in their camp."<br>"I see, well these gems shall do some good for one who is trying to make her living in a troublesome world."<br>"Take care, and thank you."<br>"Your quite welcome."<br><br>Ali departs from the shop and begins walking down the street towards the gate. <p></p><i></i> |

Linden goes to check Curie's Office again, and is surprised to see a little girl, of something like 6, sitting on one og the desks. He smiles and greats her.<br>"Hello Lilly. Have you seen your Grandfather?"<br>"No, Mister Linden... He was meant to pick me up from school half an hour ago. But he didn't come. I thought he might of got caught up with his work again, but instead it looks like he's taken his most recent work somewhere else. But he never takes work home... Only from home, if an idea hits him over dinner or something..."<br>Lilly was the Grand-daughter of Prof. Curie. Her parents had died a few years ago, and her Grandfather looked after her in every way. However he was not the most reliable of people, and often got caught up in his work, leaving Lilly to come and find him, which was never difficult, as he always worked in his office. Linden had met her before a few times, when Curie has got caught up explainning something to him. She was quite shy, but usually happy.<br>Linden now noticed something for the first time since the break in. The Place wasn't the usual messy that Curie's Office was always in, but more a ransaked mess, as though someone had searched for something. He started to look through the mess.<br>"Damn."<br>"Huh?"<br>"Oh Sorry, I sure he probably went home, as we had a break in, and I'm sure that must of been very stressful for him, so he's probably decided to go home early..."<br>"You're lying... What do you think has happened to him?"<br>Linden looked unsure of how to deal with the situation...<br>Proff Curie had certainly been kidnapped. The Missing notes were of the Death Stone. Whoever had sent those men, had used them as a distraction, to get to Curie. A suspect came to his mind, of the man behind it. That man who had been at the gates. But right now, Lilly was staring up at him, with her big eyes.<br><br>(Wanted to drive forward your story a bit Linden, so here's a point for you to continue on...)<br><br>Teatime was now in his carriage. He waves his hand in front of him, and the air in front of him shimmered, and became a window.<br>"Machine Mage. Rerport."<br>The image of a Metallic mage's hat casting shadow over the rest of the Mage's head and face appeared. Two glowing, deep beautiful eyes shune through that darkness.<br>"Nothing...has come to pass...so far... My Lord."<br>"Hhmmm what a shame. But I still wish you to guard both warehouse. Understood?"<br>"Understood...my Lord."<br>"There was a Boy I saw at the Enterance. Something about him. I have the feeling he might show up. And I do believe there's something... special, about him."<br>"I...will...be on ....my guard... My Lord."<br>"Excelliant. And remember, I do not want you to endanger yourself. If they are more powerful than you were expecting, then escape. We can finish them off at a later time."<br>"Yes...of course...My Lord."<br>"Right, when this is over, meet me at my Airship."<br>"Understood...My Lord..."<br>Teatime waves his hand again, and the window vanishes. THe carriage stops.<br>"MiLord. We are at the Office of the Head of the Guard."<br>"Yes thank you.
