Ch.1: Day 1 Morning... Deep in dark and foreboding (yet cozy to one person) series of rooms, a clacking was heard. The source of the noise: a computer. A person who considered this place home was working at the monitor, sipping away at her own homemade beverage. Washu (who did you think?) had created this brew with only one purpose, she needed to stay awake. Her drink consisted of Coffe, Mountain Dew, Mello Yellow, Amp, Jolt, Red Bull, Monster, Rockstar, Pixy Sticks, caffine pills, and some other items (the list contains about 200 ingredients). Of course, this drink is dangerous to humans, but Washu isn't that human. She had modified it so it kept her tip-top in crucial situations (and altered its flavor), such as this moment in time. About five minutes ago, she discovered a strange readout coming near Mercury. Her instruments should have discovered this earlier, which intrigued her; nothing ever escaped her observation devices (not even Tenchi). Eventually, her Ob.Probe found the problem,a strange yellow sphere, roughly the size of a sedan. It appeared to be moving away from Earth. Washu calculated its speed and came up at where it originated, or rather when. It started at Earth about sixty years ago. After much researching, the result puzzled her. 'This is pure energy, but it appears as if it cannot be destroyed by anything. I wonder where it is heading. Gravitational disruption, add current location at current speed, and the result is...' Washu dropped her cup on the floor. "THE SUN!!!" Washu had seen what happend to systems with similar problems, such as a large flagship missing a shot during a battle and careening off at a star. The result was not pretty; though the star itself was not destroyed, it would release a massive solar flare causing total destruction of all near by planets. At the rate this energy was moving, Washu estimated she had five days to do something drastic to save billions of lives. She was already feeling stressed. |
