| Post subject: | Naruto licensed by who? |
I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about Naruto and thought I should give it a try. I read the first issue of the manga and thought it was pretty good. Now I'm wondering if I should buy the anime. But the fact that's it on Cartoon Network (and the day programming, not Adult Swim) makes me leery of doing so. This wasn't the case a few years back when Toonami was on in the afternoons and still showed a few semi-decent animes, but nowadays all the anime on the non-Adult Swim blocks seem to all have been licensed by 4Kids, and I don't buy anime licenced by 4Kids as their dubs have been mangled beyond all hope of salvation or even recovery. I'm wondering if anyone knows if Naruto has fallen to the scythe of 4Kids or if it's been done by the problematic but still watchable FUNimation. Anyone? |
