Sasami looked at the guide she was given and read through it.

Sasami: "This sure is an odd place for a game. Dont you think so Tsunami? Tsunami? Where did you go?"

Tsunami had taken the guide to go sit down on an upended barrel nearby and was still reading it. Sasami howeve hadnt seen her and was now worried.

Sasami: "Ohh! Where did she go? What could have happened to her in this place."

Sasami wandered away from the group, not too far though, and went to read the guide again. Some of it confused her, but she got the basics out of it. She wished there was a map though. It was still hard to picture in this messy town.

Tsunami took her program and looked for a spot to sit. Her legs were acheing from walking here. She had tripped in a rut earlier. She could have just floated, but she didnt like to do that when amoung people. It often intimidated them and she did not want to scare them any.

She red through the guide carefully. She was curious about why they would have to wait here for so long. She was in no hurry, but she didnt feel safe here. And seeing the people here made her sad. They seemed to live a very hard life. But she was not able to do anything now to help them. Perhaps afterward, but not now. She sat there and wondered what she was to do here for the time they would have to wait. She got up and walked to Kagato.

Tsunami: "Excuse me, Master Kagato? Do we need to make our own arangements for the time until we leave?"

Sasami came back to the group and looked at the strange man named No.9. He scared her a bit, but she pulled up her courage and asked the question that was on her mind.

"Mister No.9, can you please tell me where the potty is? I really have to go bad."

Kagato turned to Tsunami.
"Well, it's quite simple. There's only one hotel in Innsmouth. Thanks to our connections with the Order, we've set each of you up with a room there... Or did you mean arrangements in amusement? If that, then.... These Space Pirates will dance for your amusement..."
"Like heck we will!"
A few energy blasts later.
"You do the hocky cloaky and you turn around, and that's what's it all about..."
"Bwahahaha! Dance! Dance for my amsuement!"
"Ummm Kagato?"
"huh? Wha? Oh Tsunami, you really should try this, it is rather fun."
<awkward silence>
"What I mean is that myself and No.9 will be setting up various activities soon, however we also have many other things to do... Please be patient, and your deaths will be quick and painless..."
"... Eh?"
"I mean, not in the near future..."

Meanwhile, No.9 is also making himself amused.
"Bwahaha! Dance! Dance!.... Rolling on the floor holding you stomachs is not a dance... Neither is occasionally twitching! That means you at the back!"
"Umm Mister 9?"
"Huh? Oh It's you, Salamai...."
"... Sasami..."
"Whatever, anyway, what you want?"
"I need a Potty... Where is the nearest one?"
"Oh, well let me think.... I think it's in the Refinery... Here, let me show you on the map..."
"Map?"
"Yeah, there was one in the guide."

With that the little girl rushed off.
".... I get the feeling I'm forgetting something important...."
"These bullets... they hurt and sting!"
"Oh right, I was teaching these Innsmouth folk to dance! Bwahahahaha!"

Ryoko had teleported out fo nowhere and saw the crowd. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at all of the people.

"Wow...what a bunch of losers! I thought at this "Tenchi Survivor" thing there would be pretty people, like me! But I guess not...because THAT guy is ugly, and THAT lady is just plain fat, and THAT man is too skinny looking, I could sure as fire beat him to a pulp, and..."

Ryoko's critisizing was interruped by a poke on her shoulder. She gasped and tunred around, only to see little Sasami standing there smiling at her.

"Sasami! Wha...what are you doing here?" Ryoko asked in amzement, about to take her home, for this would be such a dangerous mission for such a little girl. But Sasami just smiled.

"I here for Tenchi Survivor! Is that why you are here?"

Ryoko just looked around, embarrased.

"Um...yea..." She said real quietly.

"Great! Now you can compete against Tsunami and I!"

"Huh? Tsunami?" Ryoko asked as she looked around. Then, when she finally spotted her, she smiled.

"Ohhh...you're here with Tsunami...I didn't think Ayeka would let you go by yourself, this is dangerous you know!"

Sasami grinned.

"Well, I'm doing it for the money, Tenchi and the gang all really need it!"

Ryoko laughed out loud.

"Yes, that's just what I came here for! We REALLY need that food!"

"So I can cook it!" Sasmi added.

"Yeah, sure whatever...if these are the people competeing, then this should be easy! I mean, look at those stupid people dancing!!!"

Sasmi just sweated a bit on the back of her head. Ryoko was making fun of the moderator and his crew of Tenchi Survivor.

"Um...Ryoko...you'd better not insult them..."

Ryoko just blinked surprizedly.

"Why not?"

"Because they are the moderators..."

"Oh..."

"Ah, I see Ryoko has finally arrived... Soon I will be able to start my secret motives. I can't wait till Tenchi arrives, and we can really begin the... 'Activities'...."
Kagato stood there rubbing his hands in glee with the thought. No.9, overhearing him, showed signs of worry.
"... till Tenchi Arrives?... Oh dear..."
"What? Why is that 'Oh dear'?"
"Well it appears.... He's not coming."
Kagato stared at No.9 is shock.
"... Wait, how do you know this?"
"His name's not on the list..."
"... No.9...?"
"...yes?"
"How long have we had a list for?"
"Oh about a week now..."
"...And you never told me about this list, or showed it to me, because?"
"... You never asked?-OW! My arm..."
"It'll grow back or something... Now tell me where this list came from."
"Oh that black guy who Mihoshi got to send out the invites gave it to me..."
"... That fool, he gives out the invites, and he misses the most important Target!... Is there something else?"
"Hmmm? No no... at least, I don't think so... I keep seeming to think I've forgotten something..."
"... No.9, please go through everything you've done in the last half hour..."
"... well, I was just starting to get bored, so I commands some of the locals we were hiring to dance, and they were like 'heck no', then I took out my gun and aimed it and was like 'Heck Yeah!'..."
Kagato sighed. This was going to take a while, as No.9 could get into a lot of trouble very quickly...

Meanwhile, Sasami was back on her way to the Marsh Refinery (it's owned by the Marsh family, it doesn't refine marshes)...

After backing slowly away from Ryoko, Sasami went to the Marsh Refinery. Sasami thanked the Marsh's for letting her use the bathroom. She smiled sweetly as she left and ran back to the others. She avoided Ryoko and waved to No.9 when she got back. She really hoped she could win so she could use the money to help Tenchi and the others. She wanted to make a special dinner for him. She still hoped he could see her as more than a little sister someday. She took a seat and waited for the others to arrive

Tsunami: "Alright then."

She saw Sasami was back and went to sit beside her.

Tsunami: "You alright? Your face is all red."

Sasami: "Oh! You scared me Tsunami. Im alright. Just...nervous. Yea, a little nervous. I really want to win this, but everyone else is so much older than me. I'll probably be the first one to go."

Tsunami: "Dont think like that. I'll bet you do great. You do know your sister isnt happy with you doing this, right?She wants you to lose so you can come back home safely and-"

Sasami: "NO! I wont lose! If my sister thinks i am going to come home crying like a baby, then i have to prove her wrong. I wont go home crying!"

Sasami stormed off determined to win. Tsunami smiled and laughed to herself. All it took was mentioning her sister and Sasami would become determined to win this. Sasami was jelous of her sister. Tsunami could tell Sasami was doing this to win Tenchi's heart. Tsunami kept her eye on Sasami as she went over to sit by herself in a huff. Her face almost made Tsunami break out laughing.

"And then I sent Sasami off to the Marsh Refinery, as that was the location of the nearest toilet,-"
"What? You fool, they have a Shoggoth there! And the Order asked us to keep them away from there! Quick before something happens!"
"Oh yeah... that's what I forgot!.... Umm but no need to worry, she's back already."
"... Well that was an anticlimax..."
They sat down with a sigh of relief.
"You do realise, No.9, that there are toilets in many buildings closer than the refinery?"
"... oh."
They sat in silence again. They they overheard something.
".... We've giving away Money to the Winner?"
They said in Unison.

Meanwhile, in the sewers under the streets, a rat was chewing on a particually big crumb, when it smelt a rather awful smell. Then it saw an even worse sight and fainted. The Smell belonged to the same thing it had seen, which was the infamous Innmouth Shoggoth. It had been disturbed from its usual home of the Refinery by a smell. A Smell, it noticed with proud, that was Not fish. It took great proud in being able to recognise a smell as not belonging to a fish. It didn't know what the smell belonged to though. It had glimpsed a strange creature when it tried to find the source, and ending up in the ladies restroom. But it had dashed off too quickly. However, the Shoggoth had connected the smell to this creature, AND picked up the smell again. It was now Cleverly tracking the creature. It had no idea why it wanted to follow the creature, or what it would do when it caught up with it, but It had heard a voice in its head telling it to do this. Or had someone been talking to it verbally again. It always got those two confused. But it did not confused Fish and Non-Fish smells, that was for sure. Though sometimes, it wondered where is nose actually was, to smell these smells. Hey, it suddenly thought to itself. I can smell more Non-fish smells. It squeezed an eye though a sewer cover and looked around. Oh Boy! There's that creature again! It could recognise it anywhere! With it's two strange blue tenticles coming out of what the Shoggoth had often heard refered to as "the Head". It looked human like. Maybe it was a human. That's it! It's a Human.
"It's a human girl."
There was that voice in it's head again! Oh Boy oh boy! A Human girl! And it seemed to be surrounded by other similar creatures. One looked identical to the first creature... but larger? They must all be Human girls! Hmmm that Human girl with the white hair and green cloak looked strange.
"Umm that's a guy."
The Voice! A Human girl Guy, ay?
"no, A Human Guy... "
... The Shoggoth didn't understand this. Shrugging somehow, it began to approach the Human girls and the Human girl guy further. Oh boy! This is exciting!
The Black man, wearing a peg on his nose, grinned, and stepped back, into the shadows and disappeared again.

Having managed to escape Chihiro's estatic reaction at seeing herself, Chibi Tokimi fled up the beach from Innsmouth until she found a more private place to take stock of events. This place happened to be a empty bathroom at a refinery plant but Tokimi was still too new at being human for this to have any impact on her. "All right," Tokimi said, thinking out loud, "I'm here, Z is here, and no one is dead yet . . . though it's hard to tell with some of the people here. I sent him back to his original timeline and stripped him of his powers, but they seem to have been returned to him . . . I wonder if that black man who gave me this invitation has anything to do with it?"

"Lady Tokimi, I have just registered the presence of one of your sisters, Lady Tsunami. She seems to be here for this event as well."

"D3!" Tokimi explained. "I thought I had sent you back to the Summit to run this group of realities. What are you still doing here?"

"I seem to be unable to leave the locale, Lady Tokimi . . . perhaps it has something to do with the fact that my form seems to have been altered into a handheld gaming consule and I cannot change back."

"Really? How odd. First Z shows up and now this . . . I certainly hope the third dimension will be fine for awhile without you. Now I know something is definitely rotten in the state of Denmark, as the humans say!"

"Lady Tokimi, will you please stop playing that game on me?"

"But it's so much fun . . . good doggie!"
