The Recreation deck was huge, and full of many amusements. Most were themed Around the sea, including all the generic Cruise game.
Tenchi entered the reaction deck, the others in tow.
"This is the Reaction Deck. It doesn't have many reaction other than games right now, the... crew are still setting up things like the Cinema I'm afraid. But we have many games for you to try, bowlling, soccer, hoops, croquet, minigolf, And.... Ummm?"
Tenchi stopped by an impossibly long field, which just had a boy standing by it, and then girls and boys lined by with a set space between them along a line down the field, as far as the eye could see. There was also a strange protactor by the first boy, but he didn't seem to notice it.
".... I have no idea what game this is..."
"Why, Survivors, this is the Game of Nanaca Crash!!"
They all turned to another strange man standing to one side of the field dressed in a suit that sparkled.
"Hello Again survivors! How are you doing? Oh dear, one of you seem to be missing..."
Airi stepped forward.
"Do we know you?"
"Why of course, You, Airi, even won my challenge last time, I wish you good luck with it this time!"
"... Ithy-Pyth? But... how?"
"Well we Yithian have this method of time travelling, where we swap bodies with someone in another time."
"Like Quantum Leap!"
"OH!!!! I LOVE THAT SHOW! You Humans have such great entertainment! I can't wait till the cinemas are up and running!"
"... Ummm thanks?"
"Anyway, we use this method to both communicate with particular individuals we transport to our time, And to research into the time of the Individual."
Kagato pushed his way forward.
"So let me guess... This game is your second challenge? What do they get if they win this one? Oh, let me guess... Cinema tickets!"
"... Hey, that's not a bad idea... Though not sure how useful it would be..."
Airi stepped forward again.
"Nevermind him, tell how to play, Ithy-Pyth."
"Ah, well it is very very simple..."

The object of the game is to knock that boy as far as possible.
Boy:"Pardon? What did he say?"
To do this, click start, then prepare to play.
You will see this rapidly changing display, showing an angle. Click and hold to select the anglle of his flight. Now it displays a powerbar, rapidly fluctuating again. Release the mouse button at their desired power.
Boy:"What exactly are you people talking about over there?"

<A girl on a bike appears out of nowhere and collides with the boy, sending him flying>
Now note the girls and boys along the ground. If the boy hits one of these, something happens. The Boys slow down, or change the angle, while most of the girls give the boy a boost.
Appart from two.
The Girl with the long black hair will stop the effect of the next girl he hits, unless he hits another guy first.
The Girl in glasses automatically brings the boy to a halt, unless it is the above case, and one other special case.
You can only click while the boy is flying in the air for one of two special boosts.
If the boy is on the Decent, the girl on the bike teleports in and send the boy flying upwards again. You have three of these boosts, for the entire go.
If the boy is on the way up, the girl on the bike teleports in and sends him crashing back down to earth. This boost charges again after it's use.

That's all I think, wait no... there's something else... Something very important. The Specials. On this display you can see which people are coming up next. Above that is a dimmed box labelled "Special" When one of the girls is light up in here, and the boy hits them, you get the chance to do a special. You with here a special chime, and you had a split second to click (anywhere in the game). You will be treated to a more powerful boost. The Most powerful of these belongs to... The Girl with glasses. While usually she just plane stops the player, if you get her special, it seems to be the most powerful one.
The Girl who stopped effects also has some specials, which cause some very weird effects, but are much rarer.

Ithy-Pyth turned to the survivors again.
"Well if you have any more questions, feel free to ask! My personal tip is to aim low, and just keep starting if you get a poor choice of person to collide with first. Good Luck!"

[Here's the second challenge. You can PrtScn, and then paste into a new image in Paint or something to show me your high scores. Hopefully this will work. Heh, sorry for the unorradox Challenge. I hope this is alright. I'll start the poll tomorrow, and give you all an extra day of trying the challenge first. Good Luck!]

Curious, Tokimi went to a console and turned on the game, wondering what it would be like to play. She turned on the power and waited for the screen to show the opening graphics.

And waited.

And waited.

Finally, patience exhausted, she yelled to Yithians, "Hey, Ithy-Pith! Something's wrong, the screen won't load! Do something, will ya?"

"Lady Tokimi, I don't think I can support this software . . . and I asked you not to play games on me before . . . "

OOC: Seriously though, it won't load . . . I have a Mac, maybe that has something to do with it?

[Do you have flash installed? It is a Flash based game. If you have flash, then maybe you need a more recent version? Or maybe Hong Fire was down, or your connection disallows the DL or something. Could you seen the web page? I've confirmed the link does still work for me at least.... Hhhmmmm.]

OOC: The page itself loaded, but the game wouldn't. It'd get to about five or six percent and then stop. I tried a couple times, too. I dunno.

[Hhhmmm Have you tried resetting, or on different days? I often have problems with Hong Fire, including a problem where no images would load, recently. You're sure you have the right version of flash? I'm sorry, but I could only still find the game at Hong Fire.

The Games were going fairly well. Finally Ithy-Pyth announced it was finished.

Kagato turned from the game, which he too had decided to give a shot. He was enjoying it far too much.

".... Hey, that doesn't help her with this whole situation, why can't I win some tickets as well?"

Ithy-Pyth handed them both tickets, and ushered them in.
"Enjoy your date."

Tokimi had finally gotten the Nanaca Crash game to work. However, she had to play it on one of the sub's consoles instaed of on D3. She found the game oddly addicting.

"La, la, la la la . . . ALL RIGHT! 7939.46! My best score yet! . . . I wonder how everyone else is doing?"

Tokimi looked up to find the game room empty except for D3. "Lady Tokimi, the contest is over," he said.

"What?"

"And the winning score was 2814.13."
