Giggles and jokes over, this does seem a quite cool introduction to a re-start. I approve, though I still have a lot of preparation to do, like messaging everyone again. But I'll start by expanding this first.)

Suddenly there is the sound of a heavy door being shifted open, and moments later the lights of the room flicker on.

It turns out this is a cargo hold of the sub, with various boxes piled up in an untidy mess.

One of the new comers calls out.
"Hello? Oh Great! Everyone's here! We've been looking everywhere for you."
Tenchi walks into the room and towards the group. He is followed by a tall man in a light green high tech armour carrying a shotgun, and another man dressed in a black armour and helmit, with a flowing cloak. He also is followed by a sound of heavy breathing.
These two mysterious character stop, with Tenchi, just beside the group, and pose.
"Hi, I'm Master Chief, and I'm Finishing this fight."
Washu walks up to the Green Armoured one, with an unimpressed expression accross her face.
"Just what fight are you finishing, Kagato?"
"... Damnit, how did you know it was me? It was the best kept secret!"
"... I know you Kagato... I know you like Green. It is your favourite colour."
"How did you know that, it was the best kept secret!"
".. Moving on. If you see High Tech Green armour, you'll try it on if you feel like a lau-"
"I AM YOUR FATHER!"
Washu was interupted mid-sentence by the man dressed in black, who pointed right at her when he said this, right into her face in fact.
"... No you're not, No.9."
"Ha! I am not Number 9!"
"... You do realise I can perfectly hear your actual voice over the fake voice?"
"... That doesn't change the fact I am..."
He removed the mask.
"... Your Father!"
Washu looked at the decidedly black man again.
"... Oh you again. Ummm I still don't think you're my father."
"Yeah, but you were expecting me to say who I actually was that time..."
Ignoring the strange black man, Washu turned to Tenchi and Kagato.
"So, where is No.9, and more importantly what is going on?"
Tenchi cleared his throat.
"Well it's like this. As far as we can tell, reality broke for a couple weeks. Or stopped. We're a little hazy about what exactly happened."
"... How can reality stop for a couple weeks? If it stops, the weeks stop too surely?"
"... Well I would think so too, but the fact of the matter is all time instruments show that a few weeks have gone past. Even all the calenders have been crossed to the seemingly correct date. However, everthing else suggests everything has been stuck in place, then reconstructed in as close to the same place as possible. We are now moving in the same direct and speed as we were a couple weeks ago, but we are still roughly in the same place, other than the distance we've now travelled in the past few minutes. A machine like this takes hours to decellerate and accelerate, so ... I have no idea, but it seems we were stucjk in place, but not actually stopped."
"And you said... reconstructed?"
Kagato answered this one.
"... Yes, well, as you can see, people turned up in different places to where they were when everything stopped."
"... And?"
".... And the structure and layout of the sub has changed. We'll draw up a map later..."
"Right... now where is No.9? Where did those two get that armour? Did Z reappear?"
".... No, unfortunately not. We found these and several other pop-culture based stuff in another cargo hold. No.9's choice of armour was ... too extreme to fix through the corridor to this room... it was... combination... of >sigh< a power loader from Aliens, and the Juggernaut from Mavel's armour..."
"... So, while reality was broke, he managed to see X-Men 3?"
"Apparently so, and since it was something of a disappointment, he's clinging onto the best bits..."

Meanwhile in a corridor not too far away.
"... I'm the Juggernaut, Bit-"

"It could have been worse... there were Evangelions and Gundams in those cargo holds. We managed to hide them"
"... Ignoring the question of how you hide robots several stories in size, How did they get there?"
"We Will Never Know..."
All turned to the Black Man again.
"... I said, we will never know. Geeze, you guys are so paranoid..."
"... So, where were we before... reality broke?"
"... Stocking up on armour and weapons I believe."
"... Lead the way."

Tokimi had rephased into existence with the rest of them. "Wow, what a thing," she said. "I had the most wonderful dream. I was back in the Summit and there were a bunch of Classic gods arguing among themselves and they started to fight and then they turned into dragons and ran off. It was weird."

"Wait a minute," someone said. "A dream? How could she dream? I blinked and then everything was like this."

Washu said, "Well, if I had to guess, it would be because until recently Tokimi was a multidimensional being that exists in some form outside of this universe, so when reality stopped here she was still going on in some other places."

"So she would have some idea of what happened while we were out?" someone asked.


"No," Tokimi said. "This is a bit embarrassing, but my memory of what happened when I was a full Choshin has gotten a bit . . . fuzzy in places, mostly when it coincides with things a mortal on this plane shouldn't know about. I think I put a protection mechanism on myself when I came here. It sounds like something I would do. But it was off for a long time this time, huh?"

"Yeah, it was--wait, THIS TIME?? You mean something like this might have happened before and we just weren't aware of it?"

"That sounds about right," Tokimi said.

"Well, then why are we aware of it this time?"

"Maybe it has something to do with the intruders who are screwing around with us, maybe it's got something to do with the fact that Washu, Tsunami, D3, and I are all on vacation, or maybe that's just normal here," Tokimi said. "Like apparently it's normal for inanimate plaster gargoyles to speak here."

"Oh yeah," the gargoyle said, "that IS new . . ."

[OOC: Yeek, I am terribly sorry for being noniexistant for a few weeks, months, years... whatever. I remember checking in one day, to find that the page would not display! I understand that this has happened recently, but, yeah, my Tenchiboard self kinda died for a while. But I'm back now, and I've tried to read up on most of what's happened. I wasn't able to find if I've been voted off yet, but, hey, even if I have, it doesn't entirely matter. ]

Kazuma woke up, feeling thoroughly disorganised. He looked around to find himself inside some kind of ship-like mechanism, again with those strange people that he had seen on the beach. However, this did not bother him very much, as enough strange things had happened to him today to consider a boring day very lucky indeed. What did worry him, though, was that he couldn't remember a thing about what had happened to get him inside this ship.

The little chef sighed. Being without the prescence of Wasabi Paste and Sharp Knives did so seem to leave him empty, without much to do. Just the way father had planned.
Kazuma shook his head. Perhaps he would try to enthuse his situation again. After all, he had recalled seeing Sasami somewhere, and she was always a really fun person to be around, as he remembered.
