//An original character, sounds like fun! I don't know much about this series, but with 514 episodes so far, there has to be a ton of material to work with! *starts digging around the net*//

For my character. Is it regular Tenchi or is it young Tenchi cause in the Space and times adventures they all kept they're regular appearance.

//He can switch via Vodka - no joke. I may be wrong on the details, but alcohol seems to temporarily reverse the poison. So just say you drank some.//

The evening sky darkened until only the dull orange of the sunset that precedes the twilight was visible above the glittering lights of the city coming alive for the evening. Even as those weary of their daily toils struggled to make their way home for their night's rest, Tokyo's denizens of the night were coming forth, hungry and eager for the spoils of their coming "day". Just off the bustling main street of Kabuki-cho, in a dimly lit alley a paneled door slid open and from within emerged a gorgeous creature. A tall and beatifully built woman wearing a red and exquisitely embroidered kimono looked out upon the scene of the arriving night with expectation. Her volumous emerald green hair was wrapped very elegantly about her head and fastened with a comb, not a single strand out of place. Indeed Kasumi Mikage was the very image of a noble princess with the exception of her casual leaning upon the door frame and the western styled makeup she wore. The sign above the doorway clearly marked the name of her establishment as "Flower House" but the sign itself was not illuminated. Mikage-san had no need for loud and obnoxious advertising and in fact she was keen to ensure that herself and her clientele did not attract unwanted attention. She also owned the xxx video store directly next door that actually fronted on the main street because it not only provided Mikage-san with some secondary income, but also because it lured away those she desired not to derive her primary income from.

Less than a half hour had Mikage-san been surveying the night scene when a man stepped around the corner and walked slowly towards her. His double-breasted suit and glasses were familiar to her which brought just a slight twitch of a smile to one corner of her ruby-red lips. When he came and stood in the doorway, the soft glow from within Flower House illuminated his face clearly.

"Noboyuki-san, you look so tired today." Mikage-san remarked quietly with a slight pained expression.

"Ahh, this airport project is going to be the death of me, I swear." he groaned. "Sure, the government is paying ¥500 billion for it, but at this rate I'll never live long enough to see any of it." Noboyuki finished with a sigh.

"Oh dear, well I'm sure I'll be able to help you out with that Noboyuki-san." Kasumi Mikage reassured him and led him through the door by the hand.

She reached with both of her slender, flawless hands around behind his neck and felt the muscles of his neck and shoulders to be like iron under her soft palms.

"My, you're so tense, even more than usual." and she began to massage his neck slightly.

"Oooh, you have no idea how good that feels Kasumi-chan" Noboyuki replied but his pleasurable experience ended quickly. Kasumi had put her index finger upon his lips and with a wry smile she gently rebuked him "Now, now, where are your manners Masaki-san? You know that only my most dear friends are allowed to call me Kasumi-chan" and at that moment another woman descended the stairway. She was a bit younger than Mikage-san and not as elegantly dressed. She was however stunningly beautiful and Noboyuki, even though he was a 40-something mature fellow, blushed slightly at her appearance. The young lady said not a word. She simply smiled at him and took his hand to lead him upstairs. Noboyuki and Kasumi bowed respectfully to each other and as his hand left hers, Mikage-san took the small stack of ¥10,000 bills and tucked them securely into her kimono sleeve.

// It's just a character introduction, not a story introduction so try not to read too much into it. Kasumi is of course Kiyone (I kept the initials K.M. the same) and is a Tokyo madame which should work with a mystery/crime story. She could be played as good, evil, or neutral depending on what works best for this story. If you'd rather I come up with something different, please let me know.//

//Erm, I'm glad everyone likes the story idea, although it really wasn't meant to be one. ^_^;; I'm also sorry about disappearing from the other threads, I was unable to keep up with the pace of the rpg and it probably would've been appropriate for me to resign at the time. There's no guarantee that I'd be able to keep up with this new universe either, but I'm willing to give it a shot anyways. Here's a stab (eww ... puns) at Bkev's idea ...//

After seeing Noboyuki upstairs, Kasumi casually sauntered back to her usual spot at the front doorway of Flower House. She hadn't been there two minutes when a bloodcurdling shriek cut the warm night air like a frigid blade. Since she was eleven years old Kasumi Mikage had lived on the street, orphaned by the violent self-destruction of her parents' marriage. There was little in the world that she was scared or afraid of, but the scream from upstairs was enough to make Kasumi catch her breath and make the hairs on the back of her neck stand up.

"Shiina-chan?? What the hell??" she swore to herself and immediately stepped inside the door. She quickly slid the paneled door shut and dropped the slat into place, effectively closing her establishment. Then, without hesitation, Kasumi ran upstairs to the second floor to the room where Shiina worked, the person whose voice Kasumi had recognized producing the shriek. She slid the door open and sure enough, the young woman she had seen only minutes ago with Noboyuki Masaki was standing there, holding an unraveled yukata to her chest, covering herself. Her eyes were wide with terror and even through her makeup it was plain that all the blood had drained from her face. Shiina hiccuped a single sob and then noticed that Kasumi was watching her. Bursting into tears she ran to Kasumi, fell to the floor at her feet and hugged Kasumi around the legs.

"Oka-sama! Oka-sama! I swear I didn't! I swear I didn't do it! Please ...!" Shiina blubbered almost incoherently through her now uncontrolled sobbing.

"Do what?" Kasumi asked an then started to scan around the room. Then she let out a gasp as soon as her eyes met the still form of Noboyuki Masaki, lying face down on the floor. She gently freed herself from Shiina's embrace and walked over to Noboyuki. Kasumi Mikage knew a knife wound when she saw one, and now she found herself staring at a gaping one in Masaki-san's back. Blood was still slowly oozing from it to join the puddle already forming on the cherry hardwood floor. She knelt down on the floor next to Noboyuki, and careful not to touch any of the blood, Kasumi placed two of her fingers on the side of his neck where not too long ago she she had rubbed away a small amount of his tensions. Then she repeated on the other side of his neck. Gritting her teeth, Kasumi withdrew her hand from Noboyuki and just for a moment clenched her fist. The knife had found its mark and pierced his heart - Noboyuki Masaki was dead.

Standing up again, Kasumi went over to where Shiina was still sobbing. After getting her up on her feet, Kasumi wrapped her in the yukata properly and then called out into the hallway with a loud and commanding voice:

"Hideki! Kyo!" The names of two "security" men she kept on staff at Flower house. A moment later, one of them came up the stairs and appeared at Shiina's door.

"Kaichou?" he asked.

"Hideki, where is Kyo?" Kasumi inquired harshly, annoyed that only one of them had shown up.

"Kyo, he saw a man in the alley about the same time that we heard a scream. He went to chase after the person he saw." Hideki answered her.

"I see. That is okay for now." Kasumi acknowledged in a calmer tone. Then she ordered to him "Hideki, there has been a killing. Stay here and keep watch. No one is to enter this room except me."

"Yes Ma'am. Understood!" He answered.

Kasumi then closed the door and took the sobbing Shiina across the hallway to a room directly across from where Noboyuki had just been murdered. She tapped lightly on the door and called out

"Mitzuki-chan, open up please." in a calm voice.

Almost immediately the door slid open and another young woman appeared. She was just as gorgeous as Shiina, maybe even more so. Mitzuki frowned with concern when she saw the sobbing Shiina-chan in Kasumi's arms.

"Mama-san? What's wrong with Shiina-chan? What was that horrible scream I heard?" Mitzuki asked.

"There not much time explain Mitzuki-chan. Please take Shiina-chan and try to calm her down. Someone got into Shiina's room and killed a man." Mitzuki let out a loud gasp of fright at Kasumi answer, but it was only momentary. Then she took Shiina from Kasumi and led her over to the bed and sat down with her.

"I'll take care of this. There is no need to worry Mitzuki-chan, Shiina-chan." Kasumi assured them. Mitzuki nodded that she understood and they bowed to each other quickly as Kasumi left the room. Once she was out in the hallway alone, Kasumi let out a sigh of exasperation. Thinking to herself

"Damn, this sucks! I can think of a hundred men that deserve it, but Masaki-san is not one of them ... not to mention what this is going to do for business. But now I seem to have no choice" and in resignation Kasumi drew her cel phone out of a pocket in her kimono. She dialed a number and awaited an answer. When it picked she asked

"Tantei Conan-san?" then there was a pause.

"This is Flower Lady. There has been an incident, I need to see you here immediately!"

There was a longer pause after which Kasumi answered "Arigatou" and ended the call.
