Some of the new characters fit well...if you've seen Tenchi Muyo GXP. I did feel some of the new OVA (that I've seen) was rushed (especially the "z" episode). It should have been developed better... Still, I enjoyed what I've seen a lot, so I can't say that I'm really ranting about it. I guess I eat up Tenchi stuff (with the exception of Tenchi in Tokyo, that is).

The new shows....ugh..... two words - Pretty Sammy! And as for OAV3, did GXP come first, or visa-versa! I don't want to watch anymore GXP! Just because it carries a label of something I like doesn't mean I'll buy it! I hated new Coke. I didn't like Crystal Pepsi. I won't buy those humongous Levis, with the crotch down to your knees. And I don't like "magical girl" or crappy spin-offs! |

Mauritania, whoa, wait; back up the train! Den died! (or they said he died!) didn't he own the pub! I can't remember the name, and I guess I could look it up, but I watched the Eastenders back in the mid-late 80's! My favorite character, I can no longer remember her name, but she looked like me - my college friends kept comparing me to her, so I started watching! I think she had a baby by Den (but who didn't!) A couple of years ago I tried watching it again, but I didn't know most of the characters and lost interest after one episode....God bless BBC America...So, yea, I think it is kinda like Eastenders. Most of your favorite characters are gone (for a different reason) and if Den shows up after being "dead," it is alot like Dallas! Crap! We deserve better! ...and thanks for not calling us all "Yanks!"(some of us are southerners and that is our term for, well, eastern seaboard "Yankees!") I personnally witnessed a friend call a Scottsman "English" in a bar in Turkey....not a happy scene...I had to explain and buy alot of beer, for him and his "mates" to defuse the situation... 
I, personally, am a much more laid back person! And I love the ariel shots of London! (Too bad I didn't buy an old red telephone kiosk the government was selling when BT went to the new plexiglass open kiosk! but I had no way to get it here, being all young and poor at the time!) I'm going to look up my Eastenders' characters' name! |

Well Den died, came back to life again, died again (properly this time) when his new wife hit him across the head with a shovel. In the Doctor Who universe, Den came back to life again as ghost. As for Sharon, she had an incestious relationship with her half brother who was then killed by a hitman from the same gangster who killed Den (with a bunch of daffidills). Sharon then went off to the US to find Michelle. Well Eastenders has changed alot over the years, it's too much like the OC these days. Personally it would have been better if it started doing weird and plot-holed storylines, it would be much more imaginative. |

I found itl! Michelle Fowler is the character from Eastenders I resembled, back in the day! Not how she looks now, but how she looked then; and it was pretty eerie! (we both look different, now!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Michelle1985.jpg I KNEW she had a baby by Den, that SOB!
