I have two computers in my house, my computer (decent, not great), and the family computer (runs current games, need I say more?). I have dial-up, and my family uses the browser compuserve(owned by AOL). This browser is most likely THE WORST browser on the face of the planet. The "New" and "Better" version of compuserve (which I no longer call compuserve, rather, something less flattering) will NOT support flash. Reason being? AOL is phasing out compuserve, trying to switch the users to the AOL browser. I bet you are wondering now why do we have compuserve? When we got our first computer, a compuserve browser disc came with it. That was 8 years ago, when it was a decent browser, and we've (well, my family minus I) stubburnly stuck with it. However, we recently tried People PC, and we are slowly moving over to People PC a month (it halves our bill for compuserve). I am using People PC right now, because compuserve wouldn't let me post anything, and kept logging me out (*broods*). So, this is to you compuserve... I ****ING HATE YOU ****USERVE! YOUR BROWSER SUCKS MORE THAN CANCER! AARRRRGGGGHHH!!! And now you my frustrations on compuserve... |

If you connect without going through the browser, use firefox. It's prolly your best bet, it's pretty safe http://www.firefox.com |

Yes. Firefox. Complete awesomeness. It allowed me to navigate somewhat tolerably through Myspace pages when I was using dialup. |
