It's a good format with about the same sound quality as mp3 but a little better compression. The best part of course is that Vorbis is not proprietary and free for anyone to use. You need a vorbis or haali splitter codec to play .ogg files. They also have a drag and drop encoder/decoder that decodes to .wav and then you can make your own mp3's if you want to. |

So the ogg files are better compressed right? How much better compression. Because there's always the issue of geting people to download the right codex. Are the ogg files better on BitTorrent? I've recently downloaded some ogm files. Are these the same? I haven't been successful in getting a good decoder. So I can't watch them yet. |

VLC had my babies, I suggest you try that. Scuse the lack of asterisks, spanish keyboards seem to not have them. |
