Shuffling the topics around is easy and I could do that. However, an admin is needed to modify the board layout and forum sections. |

Late on the game here, but I do think that merging or removing the low traffic boards would help make the board less cluttered. I'm for Jibril's idea. |

I'm here I'm here. I got a bit distracted by work stuff. I was heavy into getting this done I still have the notes saved on my desktop still. It was funny, everytime I looked at it on my desktop I was like "I gotta get back on top of this" I did some work on this this evening. I've got to go to bed now because its really late. But below is what I'm thinking so far for the new look. My next post will have info about what to do with the forums suggested for retirement. Announcements: The Tenchiboard Essentials Welcoming Forum All: General Tenchi The Keleidoscope Room Tenchiboard Games (Needs somebody to come up with games to play though) Video Games The Rant Room Admin Corner: Questions for Neelick Fanfics: MDR's Corner (MDR did some posts recently) Members' Fanfics (I've always liked the idea of having a place for people to share their fanfics) Archives: Games Survivor I (Worth keeping, I think in the archives) Spam Dump I'll post more tomorrow. Its late right now and I need to get some sleep. |

Ok back again.... late again :\ Anyway if the layout above looks good I can see streamling the board, combining some forums, and archiving the rest. I think that if MJH wanted to make the changes, I'd be happy to make him an admin to make the changes. And I see no reason to return him to global mod after that's done. |

I come around as often as I can really. There have been some points where I wasn't on for a few weeks at a time though over the years. I think that the above listing seems pretty streamlined. Some forums outlived their usefulness, others were intended to be short term, like the spotlight ones, and some others just never took off as expected. Doing the actual reorg isn't hard if you don't want to do it, my current other admins are as you guess are missing in action. Its just something that happens over time. People come and go. But there comes a time to replenish the board staff from time to time. |

I'll post the final plan before anything actually gets changed. |
