This is ridiculous, the only reason I'm here is because of Jibril. I know from past experience that the Tenchi fandom sucks, is why I didn't want to be in it again. Some time after I first registered, I got an email through my fanfiction account trying to get me onto this other board and bashing a lot of names here. After I kept posting here, the same person posted an extremely vile disgusting review on my single story. So much so, I felt compelled to pull the story. I asked Jibril to ask a moderator about this since I wasn't entirely comfortable as a newbie complaining about something, and she said they told her not to question this "hospitality." The moderators have their priorities mixed-up. They care about posters that left but not the ones they have. Grass is greener and all that. If this is the case, I'm leaving as well. |

I got many a PM from Jibril, but nothing about that. I can't speak for any of the other mods, but nothing about this incident reached me. My most sincere apologies for that incident. I understand that you want to leave, but should you ever have any questions it's best to go directly to a moderator rather than through a middleman who could easily manipulate anything we say or don't say. |

Okay, where to begin? 1) "This I find quite disturbing and I agree with Takeda Kenji that I waited far to long to do something about this. And the slowness is something I really do need to apologize for. I'm sorry everyone. v_v" I never said that the mods waited too long to act. I said that the bannings feel like a retroactive reaction to all the shit went down. I think I’ve made it clear that I think you’re scapegoating Jibri here. 2)"Actually they did when they packed up and left. In essence they banned themselves when they chose to no longer participate in this community and created their own" This makes no sense as they did what they did as an act of defiance and a middle finger to this community, not as taking responsibility for anything they did. 3) Jibri posted that animated gif after the excessive trolling on Hakubi started. 4) Your reasoning about them leaving is extremely inconsistent because Akawoa hasn't left and has indeed posted in this very thread. Akawoa took part in the final fight, Jibri DID NOT. 5) Bkev, if anything anyone here can say or do can affect your level of Tenchi-fandom, then you need to take a step back. Nothing anyone here says can make me more or less of a fan of Tenchi. 6) How much discussion was there with Neelick before these bannings were put in effect? |

With Setofan, at least, Neelick has told me on several occasions to hold back in banning him. Not after my last PM was there a chance in hell that would happen. As has been proven by the board reconstruction, Neelick is hard to reach/get to make a decision. You're entitled to your opinion, but this really is for the best. |
