Yes, it's true. Except for a sticker problem on the tin (there was basically a flaw in manufacturing or whatever, and all the tin boxsets have stickers on the front and back that are difficult to remove), I'd say this is one of the best first volume releases I've seen in years. It had everything, from extremely high-quality artwork (Region 2 DVD covers to boot), soft subs (which means nothing is changed or edited in terms of Japanese text, such as the opening logo, in the subbed version), very good sub translation, and some nifty extras...such as a 12 page booklet detailing characters, the story, artwork, descriptions, and interviews.<br><br>I highly recomend for the FMA fan. I was sold right away. I got the nagging feeling the Subtitles were not quite write.... Gah, the Oxford Anime Soc showed this series this year, but I missed the last three seasons, i.e. The Ending! Now I'm going to have to wait for bloody Funimation to release it.... |
